Those 600's are pretty nice out on the water, but not so much when battery charge issues lead to running those big engines at the dock overnight. How many nearby CO detectors sounded?

All the co detectors went off…. Everybody but me….. Do you know Bob he is part owner of limitless the boat manufacturer. That boat sat there all week with merc issues…… he had it fixed then went to the boathouse with my group ….. we went back to my boat for a nightcap bourbon…… when they went back to their boat they knocked something to do with the generator and the boat was completely dead again the next morning……. His charger is acting up so decided to run the 600’s to charge the batteries and leave…… now I thought he went for dinner not overnight…… either way not a good idea

Had worked on the genset and ran it all afternoon at the dock. Exhaust leaked into the cabin. CO is a nasty gas. Wonderful to meet you as well, hope our paths cross again. Always a good time at the bay unless the the wind is NE.

I talked to Dan next door on the 48….. he couldn’t get his CO detectors to shutoff…… it was also raining. So he put a plastic shower curtain over the bed to open the hatch……. Not good

I made a bad decision a couple weekends ago and went to PIB on a go fast center console at 11:30 at night came back at 3:30 in the morning….. Lake Erie is not a lake to screw around with….
I hope the best for this young man but I would say the odds are against him

Erie wasn’t too happy this morning either. I can’t imagine surviving in that water. Prayers for his family.

As black as it gets at night on the lake, it is not hard to lose someone. I really hope he is found alive. I’m praying for his family

Yes but we ended up doing a lot of indoor self medicating and the rain stopped about an hour before the fireworks so it worked out ok!

I’m at NCYC Sunday to Thursday then algonac hc then back to NCYC Sunday for another week

we are thinking of going to crews inn this Sunday for lunch before heading across to NCYC later in the afternoon if you are around

Dam shame about the kid. We lose 1 a week thru summer. When the crabs get their fill it takes a DNA sample to identify.
We lost a 19yo and a 70yo this week. 19 still missing, gotta wait till he floats, wont take long the water warm. They already found the 70yo.
worst are fall. Cold water keeps them down till summer. By then, not a lot left to recover.
I hate these dam crabs.

No it’s tomorrow. This one is the Wertz Warrior one. Usually they’re on Wednesday’s.

Just got back to Lake St Clair after spending Sat and Sun nights at PIB, C-dock. If you haven't read the news, it was a bit crazy on Saturday night, we watched from the boat, docktails until way too late.

Sunday evening we were on our boat with friends who were parked behind us. About dusk some people were looking at their boat, next thing you know three of them went into his Tiara and even walked down the steps into the cabin. We ran down and started shouting at them, they were on their way off the boat as the rest of their group (5 others) saw us running to the boat. I blew up at them, basically WTF were they thinking, that is a person's property, esentially their home... etc.

One of the younger ones, a 20'ish girl, starting coming back at me with works like "don't be disrespcting me", "don't be coming at me like that"... it got ugly. Thankfully there were a few others on the dock that got them moving away, off the dock.

So, I guess it's time to see if I can find my cabin door key and start locking it up when not on the boat.

Some people suck.

Christmas in July weekend. Always a complete shitshow on the island. Heard it was exceptionally bad this year.
