I have a 2006 Sea Ray 340 with Merc 8.1L v-drives. about 2 year ago, I ran into a fuel delivery probably on the Starboard side motor which boiled down to a bad Parker Hannifin fuel valve and some resistance in the power line feeding the valve and the fuel pump(s). I found a replacement valve on ebay at the time and everything was fine. At the time, I considered ordering some spares... but didn't, and somewhat regret it now.

This weekend, my port side motor shut down underway with no alarm faults or anything. I turned the manual bypass on and was able to continue on my way. I'm going to confirm the valve is getting power but I'm guessing it is faulty. I've searched all over the Internet and haven't been able to find a replacement part. Sea Ray part #1791155, parker 71215SN21Z01F2JZ07C1. does anyone know where I can get a replacement? or if there's an equivalent alternative out there? Seems like there are electronic valves out there but nothing with a manual bypass. I'm also curious if folks are just removing these and putting in mechanical anti-siphon valves.

I shot my local sea ray dealer and parker a note direct, waiting to hear back.

Thanks in advance for any input and advice.

If it's just mechanical, you can get rebuild kits for them. 'Unsure if this is the actual kit for your valve, so best to verify PN if that's where the problem lies. If it's the coil, they do make replacements. 12 VDC can be a bit of a struggle, however.
I found a couple of older threads about this very problem, plus a picture of the valve with studs for the wires, rather than the plug. If you can find one of these, the harness could easily be cut from the old solenoid and new crimp rings attached. The Parker solenoid number is V5C72120. Thanks - I found that too and ordered one. The one I bought 2 years ago was $140 so they sure have gone up in price. Seems odd that it's such a hard-to-find part through normal channels. Ebay can't be the only way to get one of these. Tried Parker Hannifin direct and they just gave me a list of local dealers. Sea ray dealer never got back to me. I might just buy one more to have an extra on hand. That should cover me for the rest of my ownership of the boat.
