:smt024 Hi Everyone,
Going to try this one last time. I received 2 responces and had 585 views. I need good sound advice from a Mech or someone that has first hand experience. I am looking for the right prop puller to buy. Not rent or borrow, buy to remove the 4 blade props from my boat. Someone out there must have some good info.
Thanks, George:smt100

George, I use a Prop Smith tool. Works as advertised.... But $$$$$$ ....not sure if it works for your application. It's worked for both my 4 $ 5 blade props.

Avoid any prop puller with cast parts or those with a bunch of bushings and spacers to make them a universal fit. The guy you loan it to will lose the odd parts before he brings it back.

This one is bullet proof and even the dumbest yard monkey can't break it. Ours is 10 years old and still does the job:

Pick your own source; This was the first photo that google displayed when I searched for it. I think West MArine is closing these out right now..............

Cruz, in a ball park figure, do you mind telling what that costs. I need to pull my props but don't want to spend a boat buck to do it.

Thanks

GFC, My shafts are 2.75" , so that puts the tab around $ 900. Fortunately, I have been able to borrow in time of need. Good luck, Tim
