  • Thnx Bill, good info....roger on the " out in the lower forty" location. Once a season sounds realistic. I'd love to get a closer look a " Pure Pleasure" , I think it is.... maybe if Jerry is around .Also to try out the Chesire Grill. Peace and quiet is good, however I get a little antsy after a while....!

Once coming in from the bay it is a nice ride back, just make sure you follow markers to the entry of the river, as the entry is tight, well-marked, but tight. Further in you will make a hard turn to starboard down-steam, but again everything is well marked and following the markers you will not have a depth problem. I think you would enjoy a weekend trip over there, if not for just some getaway R&R time.

    Tim,

It's Bill, but that's Ok, my ex-wife called me "A" hole so many times I used to answer to it. There storage building is their "claim to fame" so to speak, but really there is nothing else in the area. It is not like St Michaels or someplace like that where there are lots of things to do in walking distance. It is however, a very comfortable weekend hideaway spot if you looking to spend a quiet weekend by yourself or with a couple other boats. Not really big enough for a large group getaway though. I usually try to get there at least once a season, the wife likes the quiet time. I don’t remember the water depth, but I think it was at least 7 foot, so I sure you would not have problems with it back in there.
They spend a lot of money on their new indoor storage system so they use the boat shows to promote it and try to bring in new people. If I did not live so close to my current marina I would consider it. The wife and I call Pleasure Cove our little private getaway place, as it is nice and quiet nestled back in the cove. Just the ticket for a weekend relaxation trip.
