Any major Cummins dealer should be able to help you...Its not going to be cheap....

the dealer in Columbia is having trouble getting part. Claims part is not avaliable. The Gen belongs to a friend, it goes in a 1996 Donzi.

The dealer may be correct. Part number 160-0155(coil/Magneto or 160-1334) seems to be discontinued(2006). The only thing I could find was this site: http://onanparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=504
A couple of sites have discussed a way to construct a makeshift assembly using a standard 12volt Mercruiser coil for ignition, but I don't fully understand their designs.

BBY, thanks for the info. I passed on to friend. A small engine guy is going to check out the possibility of putting another engine on unit. May have to replace whole thing. Not looking good. Nicky
