Can anyone offer assistance with these two issues.
The po lost the door handle for the master head. It fell of and he couldn’t figure out how to install it.
Also my water tank level lights up all the levels. Any idea where the float switch is??
Thanks. View attachment 106834View attachment 106835

The door handle is available at $100 plus as I replaced ours last year...

Has anyone found an easy way to transport a small 4 stroke outboard onboard our era 450’s. I have a Yamaha 6 hp, it’s lite, only weighs 54 lbs.
I had considered using the grab rail in the guest head. Mounting an outboard bracket to it and then using foam to protect the fiberglass in the head from the prop and any bouncing around. A 2 stroke could be laid down easily in the stern locker, however, I am done with pulling and choking that old dog. Any ideas will be considered! Thanks

Just thinking here (oops) get an outboard carrying strap to raise & lower it and use your steps into the E.R. ?

I had thought about the engine room as a solution. The steps though weren’t in my initial thoughts. Maybe find a way to mount an outboard mount to the steps.
What is this carry strap that you speak of? I’m going to google, but not sure I’m familiar with one.

Thanks , I’ve just looked into what they were. Seems like they could be the solution. Going to look at the different options and how I could mount or lock onto the steps. Should measure the depths from deck floor to bildge floor tomorrow and look at the length of this yahmaha.

I'm galley to starboard and underneath the two drawers there is a small cabinet... We've been trying to figure out how to make the best use of it, this is my latest idea.

No. I wanted the outlet in the engine room to have its own breaker so I pulled a wire from the main panel and added a switch duty breaker to the panel to handle the load.

how did you get access did you go from, the cabinet on the port side where the table gets stored and drilled down into the ER
also where is a good place to get the breakers from or what are they called. the one for my head was replaced and it drives me nuts its backwards. the on and off are reversed from the others

My boat was a 1996 and it had no table storage in the salon area. I ran the bilge circuit down and back and drilled thru the bulkhead as best I remember........I did this 20 years ago!

As best I remember the breakers were switch duty breakers that matched the main panel breakers and I got them from a Carling dealer online.
