My 380 doesn't have any rod holders on the side for a grill mount so I'm contemplating a pole mount on the swim platform.

I liked that idea best for the propane stoves. When we were considering that route I looked at hiding the pedestal mount under the swim step cover. I would have had to open the cover to use it, but it would have been invisible when not in use. Also it would be far enough back to use it when the canvass was up.My 380 doesn't have any rod holders on the side for a grill mount so I'm contemplating a pole mount on the swim platform.

I agree! It is a puzzle. We put a lot of thought into ours because I cook on the grill all the time. Issues were not wanting to smoke up the plush interior, not wanting some ugly ungainly contraption, and wanting to be able to grill when the Isinglass panels were up. We finally went with the George Foreman (Round Grill on a Pedestal) It does not have the full smokey BBQ flavor for the purists, but it is fast to heat, and easy to clean and store. I have learned to adapt, and can make a mean Teriyaki Pork Loin, Amazing Roast Beef, and almost instant hotdogs and hamburgers. As our Generator is very quiet and works really well, we have learned to love our electric grill, and never looked back. Our solution will not be for everyone, but I cooked some amazing Calamari Steaks for breakfast while we were in Monterey. Sea Food is much easier!

Erik - I've used both Sears Platinum PM1 (4 Grp 31 in my 340) and Optima Blue Tops (5 Grp 31 in my 410). Both types are AGMs. Prices range from $210 (Sears online) to $230 for the Optimas (Advance Auto with coupon). Both sets are going on 5 years strong.
Hi
I just added a Custom made Teak Table for a 380 in the classified forum.
I sold my 2002 380DA, and can't figure out how to use it in my new boat, so it's up for sell.
Dave
Dave,
Just an FYI... I didn't see this in the classifieds...
