Official 370 Sundancer thread

Ok who knows what size the v berth bed is in a 92 370 ec,we are getting new bedding for christmas but the boat is 4.5 hrs away. The bedding that was on the boat was huge, the spread was 98 wide x 118 long, way too big i think because it was tucked in quite a ways. Thanks

Thats ok cg i looked around on yacht world and found one the same year as mine with the rl80c.Just fits where the r20 and loran are currently. It will be a nice upgrade for the boat.I think i will have to have a panel made that covers the entire area so i can center the rl80 also, either from acrylic or starboard.Glen

Hey Glen,
Here is what we did to our boat last winter. It is a 1996, 370 Da. We removed the old Raytheon and installed a new Lowrance HDS 10. We had a custom panel made by FP Marine and the link for the exact panel is below. He had never made this panel so we created a template for him to model it after. Hope it helps...

Long time away but I need some help from you guys. Was out in light parade over Christmas and my lights all went dark. My outlets breaker will reset to "ON" and I have tested it to make sure I have power leaving the breaker...all good. Still no power at any outlet. I now understand SR to have hidden GFI(s) on the boat. I cannot find a single gfi to reset. As FYI, I can find 7 outlets on boat: galley, coffee maker, forward stateroom, tv, starboard side salon, aft stateroom, and finally cockpit. None have GFI reset buttons and appear as regular receptacles.

Does anyone know where these are on a 370da 1996 model? What am I missing?

thanks a million for any insights provided.

We have a 99 370 DA. The GFI is located the head under the cabinet on the left hand side on ours. Check there.

Hope this helps.

I have opened cabinet under the sink in head and don't immediately see anything... Is this a standard looking outlet you have in this cabinet?

Not under the sink, under the cabinet above the sink. I am not sure how the head is set up on your boat. On our boat the shower is on the right of the sink and the toilet is to the left of the sink. Above the sink and the toilet we have a cabinet with two doors on it. Under that cabinet on the left side is were our GFI socket is located.

Hmmm, interesting. I can tell you I have actually had my hands on the following hidden outlets: behind the cockpit ice maker, behind the galley refrigerator, behind the microwave, behind the coffee maker, behind both TVs. None of these were GFI, makes sense because an appliance would have to be removed to reset them, but you never know.

My GFI is in the head below the medicine cabinet, above the toilet.

John, Thats the same place mine is. I wonder if the previous owner removed the GFI for some reason.

Mine is above the sink under the cabinet in the bathroom or head if you prefer.
I still need to know what size sheets to get for the forward bed though.

Same here as John. It is under the cabinet lip. You have to lay on the toilet to look up at it. It's the only one on my boat and I have seen them all. Oddly enough we never use that outlet at all....LOL

Yes mine is under the cabinet also by the sink. Sheet size for the forward bed should be a queen finished. I made custom sheets for mine in our canvas shop so I started with a king and ended up a queen but it was nice to know that I had extra fabric instead!

Thanks i think she bought queen sized for my x mas present.

HELP. I'm seeking some help and advice on my refrigerator issues on my '99 037 Sundancer . The fridge seems to have given up the ghost. The control light is on but it's not cooling and I don't think the fan is running. For the past year it would run constantly and freeze all bottled water in the door panel and lower shelf. I'd replace the control unit and that seem to correct the issue for a while but it would start again. Relocating the thermostat sensor didn't seem to do any good either. Now it's dead in the water. Anyone have any advice on removing the fridge for service. I haven't started but it looks like the entry way stairs seem to be in the way. Do the stairs have to be pull out?

The bottom step needs to come out, but the other do not. Feel into the carpet covering the step and you will find three or four long wood screws holding the step onto the riser. Once that is off, you will see how the riser comes off and the fridge comes right out. Take at look at the 370sunderancer.com site under the extras where I put up pictures of redoing the stairs.

I pulled one out of a friends 98 a few years ago and pulled mine out a few months ago. In both cases the steps DID NOT have to come out.
