Saverio,Doing a few spring projects this year, I feel like I'm in such a rush all boats have to be in the water by April 28 due to the boat shares the parking lot with the restaurant.
So I started installing trim tabs indicators system. Replaced my through hull transducer. I rebuilt the two seawater pumps, the marina said remove the fuel pumps to see if the gear oil is contaminated. I have mechanical fuel pumps that run of the same belt for water pumps. so when I opened them both up the stunk of fuel so I had to replace those pumps. hoping to get it all installed tonight.
happy spring everyone
When I bought my 96, there were zinc's on the shafts and it was always maintained by a large Se a Ray dealer? I have noticed that they do wear, so I assume they are doing something. I have replaced them. Thanks that makes sense! I guess somehow they are bonded to the large transom anode. Boat is on the trailer, leaving MD as I type this!
thanks Rusty ill get back to you.Saverio...if you PM me the HIN for your boat, I will be able to tell you how unique she is...

Update from Dave T. - Just had a survey done for insurance, and the surveyor also said they really should be there. So I will pull them off.

Thanksthe 330 looks so amazing with the dark hull... wow nice
Steve spray nine is a cleaner. they have a marine version at home depot or simple green. I sprayed the fiberglass under the engine and where the bilge pumps not the engines. you can mist them with the hose not the high pressure washer use dawn also it breaks up the oil
I am also updating electronics and need to replace transducer. Airmar makes a tilt 12 degree thru hull for boats with 8-15 degree dead rise and a 20 degree for hulls 16-24 dead rise. I think our dead rise is right about in the middle 15-17degree. Has anyone installed a thru-hull transducer? If so what degree did you use?Saverio,
What did you get for a transducer ? Was it a direct replacement, easy install ? I want to replace mine soon and install a nice plotter where the radar is, as it is old and have only used it once in 5 years.
Never heard that about the fuel pumps. Has anyone else ?
I have replaced the sea water pumps, but really didn't think about the fuel pumps ( They have never given me any trouble )
