Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Dumb question.. The dashboards (Switches and Gauges) is there a quick disconnect clip inline with the wiring that would allow me to pull the whole panel out and take it home to replace? I've seen some folks on here do it on the boat, but would like to bring the whole thing home. I have had them off but never took notice to any plugs I could unplug..

Thanks!!

I havnt completely removed mine from the boat but I've had to access behind it and I'm pretty sure you have to disconnect them one by one

Sorry to interrupt but learning this boat. Where can I get a "Sunpad" for the bow? Is there one made that wraps around the rails and snaps?

You would probably have to have one customer made unless you can find an owner who would want to sell you the pad. I have one that has spends the season under the bed in our guest room. I never use it because it is not something I want to leave out in the elements when not in uses and there really is no good place to store the pad on the boat. If I was to have one custom made I would design the pad in a way that could be folded up in some way or another that would allow for stowage somewhere on the boat. Unfortunately I do not what to sell mine, may be the feature the next owner may want…

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I'll continue looking maybe an owner might want to part with theirs.

Also, If you get a sun pad made do not allow them to drill holes in your deck for snaps! Use the existing rails on the deck for a positive attachment, something that snaps around the rail.

I have snaps, on my list of things to is remove the snaps, drill the hole oversize and fill with epoxy, then reinstall the snaps with a little 5200.

The less holes in your deck the better!

Not drilling holes. Lol. I will get the kind that wraps around the rails and snaps.

I know I have a lot of questions and not sure reading the 100+ threads here I saw an answer.... where can I get a new cockpit carpet from? thanks.

A local company should be able to hook you up. Lots of colors and styles to choose from.

Friend of our recently went with a teak look, light brown carpet with thin white lines, looks very cool.

Isn't there a sponsor on here that does cockpit carpet? Corinthian? I have also seen the carpet sets for sale new on eBay.

I used Matt Linhart Canvas in Baldwin to redo the carpets on my 310... They came out awesome... And look so much better than the factory stuff.... No more gaps!!

Can anyone link me to repairs to a 330 pulpit, after a slight altercation between anchor and a stubborn rock the stainless steel roller support has lifted slightly 1/4 inch in the middle possibly pulling the middle bolt through the fibreglass. Is it possible to remove the underside housing to the pulpit or is only access to the bolts through the anchor locker? I have looked through forums but cannot find anyone with similar repairs so any help appreciated

Chris

Don't rule out a padded sole. I was at a home show this weekend. One of the vendors had a set of the kiddy floor padding at their booth. They were not padding vendors, but they said being on their feet every weekend for shows and then at the shop the rest of the week took its toll. Their padding ad a bamboo finish on the top.

I know of a fellow who did this on his Regal. It was nice especially underway.

Just a thought.

Has anyone upgraded their factory swim platform to a larger aftermarket? I am looking at Swimplatforms.com which a couple of my friends have. They want 2200.00 for just the part though. Looking to see what other options are out there and how it worked out.

Thank you.
