I have the same Seatalk Autohlem. What style lower switch panel did you go with? It looks like style C from the picture however the original has a small hole, maybe Style B would be better?

you are right on the hole size. I had to guess since I ordered in dead of winter. I was able to fashion a mount system using the two studs n the back and some aluminum plate and some mounting tape to seal the front. It works perfectly but getting the right size in the beginning would have been better. I may change out the auto helm unit. The wheel speed does not work well and I am thinking something more current might work better in that location.
 
Okay, I give up. I need to replace my power engine hatch lift. But my boat is 170 miles away. Does anyone know the size, lift length, manuf., model #...? I know I'm not asking for much! LOL! Especially since I could have gotten all this information yesterday before I left the gorge.


if you can wait till tomorrow i should be down working on my boat, putting my generator back together again

Hey Guys - I have a 330 DA 1995 . Looking to replace air/reverse heat complete unit. Current unit is original Marine Air 12000 BTU. Has anyone gone a less expensive route. I can get the same unit for 1700.00 plus tax locally here. I wop hoping for a bit less but I dont want aggravation putting something else in that's going to be a pain. Looking to see if you guys have been through this with another model that was easy to drop in?? Thanks!

I just installed a Webasto 12K unit in my boat this past weekend replacing the original Cruisair unit. Installation was a breeze. I got it from WM last fall on sale for around $1300. I did have to reuse the 6" air outlet from the old unit though. The Webasto comes with a 5" diameter flange. It works great so far, heats and cools in a flash.

Dining Area Re-Config

I accidentally ran across this seating configuration where the table seating is more of a horse shoe instead of two split benches. I really like the horse shoe style and was wondering if anyone has attempting a conversion? These are both 1995 photos.

Anyone replace their incandescent bulbs with LEDs? I know it's as easy as swapping out the bulbs, but I'm not sure which LED bulbs are the correct replacement. I'm looking to do both my lower cockpit attwood lights and the dome lights in the head and engine room. I replaced my arch lights last year with I3 tri colored LEDs.

Any info would be appreciated.

So on the way to the Chesapeake gathering this weekend I wacked something and tore up one of my props. The question is how do I know what size prop shafts I have? Do all 330s with 7.4s have the same 1 1/4" shafts?

You have 1 1/2 " shafts

Yep you got 1.5 in shafts they had problems with the 1 1/4 in shafts and changed them.

You know you jinxed me boat ran great till we got to the no wake zone at the marina and started to idle ruff and there is black soot on the exhaust port. So I'm still looking for a solution! Rebuilt the carb changed the ignition module in the rotor changed the points. I am stumped.

Thanks for all the input guys!! Tom, I had some REALLY crappy gas as well and had to change the filters twice in 2 weeks. Maybe you need to start looking there as well.
 
Hi guys,

does anybody know which is the correct screw to tighten on throttle to increase the tension? My port engine throttle will not stick in position and falls to idle if i don't keep a tight grip on it. when I lift the cover of the throttle there are a bunch of screws, just not sure which is the tensioner
