Anyone removed there Main distribution panel? I tried to remove my main distribution panel this weekend, but could not get them out. There is a top piece and a bottom piece, so I removed the screws and everything seemed loose, but I could not get them out far enough to see behind the panels. I was assuming once I removed the screws these panels would come out pretty easy, but I guess I was wrong.

it is easier, quicker and safer to take the wood panel out :) Unscrew the hinges from the door and they are easy'(ish) to get out.

Panels does come out - but the have acrylic plastic backing/protection which can be in your way trying to get them out. On mine I needed to push a bit on the other one to get the lower one out.

Thanks Kaz911. I'll give it another go this weekend. I did have the door off and that LED light at the top of mine causes some problems. I just didn't want to break or unplug anything if I was doing something wrong.

The A/C panel is the hardest to get out due to all the isolation. Remember to switch of ALL power when you do it. Both AC and DC!! :) Else sparks can fly.... since the front panel is metal. [take it from someone who knows.........] :)

you probably need to take the hinges of the inside of the panel (where the doors are attached) - they can be in the way...

For those of you that have replaced yourself or Sea Ray replaced (Sea Ray customer service basically told me to pound sand!) your Ultrasonic Fuel Senders with the Royce or similar, do you know what size Sender each tank took? In the 330DA parts manual it lists the tanks as......STB Ultsonc 21" and PRT Ultsonc 22". I know most senders like the Royce or similar say to subtract an inch from you tank measurements.

So I joined the club... the 40 gallon per hour club! I picked up my new 2009 330 yesterday and have loved every minute of it. Coming from a 260, this thing feels like a cruise liner. The Admiral and I don't know what to do with all the space! Pretty excited and I'm sure I'll be in here picking up all sorts of helpful info.

Great decision, you will continue to love it, and you'll never run out of storage space!

Congrats! We've had ours for 2 years and still love it.

HAHA congrats Dave on the purchase, you and the admiral will fill up that space quick. Can you send me some picks of the engine room, I was curious to see how big that is

Good choice! Enjoy the new boat!

Hi All,

I am looking for a trailer for my 1995 330DA with twin 454 Inboards. I have a couple of questions when shopping for one. 1 - What is approx wet weight I need to shop for? 2- What length trailer should I be looking at. The boat is a 330 but OAL is 37. Thank you.

You may have better luck in another thread since this is newer 330's, but my guess is your boat's dry weight is around 18,000lbs. That's over the towing capacity of most pickups, with the exception of some super heavy duty rigs.

Also what is your beam? You may not be able to trailer your boat without a wide load transport. 37' boat is a really large boat to trailer and when they are moved by vehicle, it's usually a semi with large transport trailer.

I'm sure others will weigh in as well who have better insight into this question.

Congrats! We have the same year, make, and model 330. Just took our 2 week old daughter out on it for her inaugural cruise today with her two older brothers aged 4 1/2 years and 20 months. Plenty of room on the vessel for the growing family so far!

Hi all, so last weekend I was an hour into a 3 hour cruise, coming home from Newport. My RPMs were set to 3200. They went down to 3130 or so, then back up, and even over 3200, both engines.

They yard changed the spark plugs, and I took the boat yesterday, over to Shelter Island. It ran great!

Today, ran back through Plum Gut, about 30 minutes into the cruise, and the RPMs were holding perfectly. Then, for the remainder of the trip, about 45 minutes, the RPMs went back to bouncing as many as 90 RPMs lower than what I set it for (3100, 3300, 3680), to slightly over, then back down, over and over. Both engines, with DTS synch mode both on, and off.

Any suggestions?

I had a somewhat similar issue last year on a four day Chesapeake Bay trip. After cruising for a couple of hours the RPMs would drop and then climb again.

I haven't had this issue repeat itself this season. I'm curious to see if you find out what's behind your issue.

Could it be a fuel issue? Was all this on the same tank or did you fuel up during these runs? Any additives put in the fuel?
