So tech Mitch, how are those mount points accessed, both top and bottom? the bottom has a rug wrap on it with no exposed hardware?

It's a boat and a lot of times access to things are difficult and include disassembly of quite a few things in order to make a repair but that's just the way it goes. Start by peeling back some carpet on the bottom and removing some trim/headliner at the top. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hello friends. Looking for help diagnosing bilge blowers. Both blowers suddenly stopped working. The switch iluminates. The eim in bilge seems to work.( clicks with the switch pad) the halon system is charged and green light illuminated. Anyone know where the dual blower control module is located?

Breakers arent tripped on the aft eim?

Nope. It appears the switch pad is not lighting up either.

FYI...I couldn't stand the drone of my stock blowers and upgraded to the birdcage style which is more flow and quieter...Might want to consider...

Did you use a single unit plumbed to multiple locations or multiple units?

I have the 5.7 Horizon closed cooling engines, as i'm looking down in the bilge for fun I see a drip from the water distribution housing unit where the blue plug is. I just though I'd unscrew it and tighten back up. Well with minimal pressure the housing around the blue plug cracks off. Now I need a new one. On amazon they have what looks like the unit, but where the two air lines push in, there are no fittings of any type, just holes, do u have to move the old fittings in to the new unit? The cost difference is significant. I think I bought one of these two years ago off amazon and found those two ports didnt have any outlet , they were sealed orifices'. Do I have to drill a hole in each. Also, to remove the airlines is it a push or pull on the collar.

I answered my own question, the amazon part is not going to work, its close but it lacks the sleeves or inserts for the air lines and it is also missing the top cap with the air vent nipple. Its like they got the copy of the part and didnt finish it.

I’m looking at purchasing an 06 320 with 6.2L motors ,has anybody with a 320 upgraded to four blade props and also put drop fins on the Trim Tabs I believe the four blade props with the drop fins will get the boat up by a plane faster . I am thinking between the props in the drop fins it’ll stay up on at a lower RPM. Just my thoughts has anyone tried this, this let us know the results
I used to drop the tabs all the way down before take off and once she rolled into a plane adjust the tabs. Ran 3800/4k all day boat ran mint.

Any feedback is appreciated. We are looking to buy a 2002 DA 320 with 350/300hp v-drives. Pros and cons appreciated. And are these engines enough power for cruising or will they be working hard?

Thanks

Good morning all, does anyone have a link or part number for the head's shower curtain holders, its a track type. There are a few online, but they come in 50 counts and have different dimensions. I need maybe 7. All of that was missing when I bought the boat and now that the hot water is working the wife is interested in shower. Does anyone know the inside width of the track? Im not near my boat at the moment. Thanks

One more thing, should they be roller or just slide type? The track is horizontal, I would think roller would work best.

Has anybody rebedded the round skylights on deck? Any advice? Thanks

I had mine done on my previous 290.
I am thinking you already had it done but if not it is not an easy job for the novice...at least to get it looking like factory. I had my guy who does fiberglass do it and it worked fine. As I remember it was the 3M 303 sealant.

We had ours all apart when we did all new curtains for the boat. Same ones in the head as the cabin. Just a flat “T”, 1/4” IIRC

Stopping there in a few hours. I can double check.

Not too bad a job. Did mine over the winter. Forget painters tape, electrical tape is your friend while doing this
