One reason people pick the i/o, better gas mileage/performance with I/O over v-drives. I get 28-29gph, at 3900 Rpm, doing 26-28 Mph depending on conditions. If you are in a wet slip, not much to worry about with the v-drives, harder to maintain the i/o, and you need sea core. I/o will have slightly higher annual repair bills/maintenance costs, but older V-drives will eventually need the shaft seals worked on.Two much salt settling/corroding the I/O?
I'm looking at both the I/O and V-Drive 2005 to 2007 years of the 320. Why did you pick the I/O?
