Seevee: That particular gauge is no longer available from Sea Ray. However, you may be able to find it through googling, ebay, or flounder pounder marine-type surplus stores, etc. There is an alternate part might still be available, though, thru Sea Ray (your local dealer). It's very similar, but the numbers on the gauge are a little different in their max values:

Did you try your local Sea Ray dealer? They should be able to get you this information, too.

Chris: This isn't really specific to a 280DA, nor a Sea Ray, as any boat that has an interior can have it updated. The way to do it is to remove the cushions/backrests/etc and take them to a local upholsterer and pick what colors and fabrics you want. You could do this yourself if you're comfortable sewing heavy fabrics.
-------------
Curtiss: This sounds like something a previous owner may have installed. Myself, I can't think of anything that would look like what you are describing (although a pic would help) and be in that position. Take a look behind the dash and trace the wires and see where they go. What happens when you push it?
