12 1/8 inches, outside to outside.it would be great if someone could tell me the measurement between the 2 middle stringers in the bilge. outside to outside measurement. i am installing my heater saturday and want to fabricate the mounting plate before i drive 3 hours to the boat... a HUGE thanks in advance!
Henry, I noticed he had an 06 and all he needs to do is take out the mattress, remove the screw covers and take out the screws to remove the vinyl covered panel and it is wide open. Trust me, I have had every single panel apart and covered every square inch of this 280..lol and I'm not done yet!!On some boats (like ours) the berth panels were installed so that the starboard wall panel can't be removed without removing everything else first. I didn't find that re-caulking was all that big of a deal. The Zephyr colored caulk is available from the dealer.
Henry
I'm very interested in this as well!:huh:While we are talking about slugish 280's w/4.3's, have any of you T/4.3 guys tried 4 blade stainless props??? My friend has a 95 290 w/twin 4.3's and he swears by them.

Yep! Plus, while your in there, inspect the panel for water intrusion from the 110v outlet or shifters. So, pull the cabin panel, and it's a cakewalk to snake the cable?
Glad to help Scootdogg!!! now that's what i am talking about!! thanks so much!
Well, my friends older 290 loves the 4 blades, not sure what pitch they are, but he dives alot, and with all the extra weight from tanks, ect. I guess they work well for him.I'm very interested in this as well!
And capts. chair mount bolts, right Donnie??Yep! Plus, while your in there, inspect the panel for water intrusion from the 110v outlet or shifters.
So your starboard panel is behind the ends of the other panels?

Yours is like mine Henry!! I guess thats what we get for buying the first 2 yr. models!! LOLYes Way behind, I can't even bend the panel enough to get one end come clear.
I'm going to try these Bravo III 4 x3 next summer. I started a thread on CSR a while back to see if anyone had any input but got -0- response. http://www.bblades.com/products/product.cfm?productID=4I'm very interested in this as well!

G4's in the cabin for reading lights x6, and 1139/1156-t25's for the square white lamps in the lav and above the sink/counter. These are E-Bay #'s, check for Marine LED Bulbs. If you PM'd the bulb list or helpful search hints, please share with the rest of us!!
