Transom shower

I don’t think it was an option on the 2006 + 240 DA’s, has anyone installed one? I don’t have access to my boat now and was wondering were to install one.

I’d like to put one on the port side by the door but think the fuel fill line may be in the way.

I had my dealer put a transom shower in when i bought my 240, they placed it on the Starbord side of the transom door.

Hi, Newbie here, I need some guidance from the CSR experts, I will go and see a Sundancer 240 (2000) this weekend. What would you suggest I look for, what to pay the most attention to, etc???

Thanks in advance

Make sure the door slides easily and the fridge works properly...

Although those are two great things, they are not on the top of my list. I would make sure that the engine and outdrive are in excellant shape. Get a survey done to make sure that mechanically you are sound and that the hull does not have any defects or rot. I'm not sure the availability in Puerto Rico for marine surveys but I imagine they exist there. The door opening smoothly is a major plus and can be a timely repair if it does not glide smooth, but I would make sure the 'bones' of the boat are sound.
Best of luck.

I agree 100% with that...I was assuming he was asking for things to look for specific to this model. New fridge is $700 and door repair, if you're not a handyman is a couple grand.

Thank you, for a moment ther I thought you were pulling my chain on the door and fridge but it makes sence now LOL. The fridge is brand new the door I will see. For now I have not found a surveyor but will take a mechanic with me.

Do you have any pictures we can see to help you see other things?

Upload the pictures to Photobucket.com and then use the "IMG" tag to post.

Took the shrink wrap off and got the batteries in. Man am I hurting from squeezing in that engine compartment to get those batteries in. In the process of putting in the batteries I knock one of the struts that hold the hatch open and had the hatch fall on me. That was fun, I wasn't able to retract the strut by 1/2 inch to put it back into the ball joint. Anybody have any ideas? Should I just release the other side as well and do them both? Ruff day but the boat is starting to get dewinterized. :)

Maybe try disconnecting the other one and attaching the one you had trouble with first then reconnecting the second. I haven't had an issue when I have had to disconnect mine.
Best of luck
