Official 2003.5-2008 340 Sundancer Thread

Shower Sump Float Switch
My failed open and could not find replacement. Found one at West Marine that was larger (looked similar) and could be held down by only one screw. They told me that I had a mercury switch and not made anymore. Problem is, the switch keeps cycling the pump on and off, like the dead band for the switch is too tight. Every time the boat moves a bit, it goes on for a second.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement?
 
Hey 340DA people take at look at this transformation. Infinity "Better than teak II" in the cabin. This lays over existing carpet. I now have templates for every inch of the 2003.5 - 2008 340DA (swim platform, cockpit, steps, head, cabin).

looks good.......do you have the template for 1999 - 2003 340DA's?.......what kind of backing is on it?........cost?

I do not have templates for other years....just 2003.5 - 2008. You can make a template from 6 mil plastic. I will PM you the cost.

The backing is PVC foam.

Does anyone know the diameter and length of the ac strainer basket? The admiral dropped in in the water while trying to clean it and of course it sunk like a stone.

I think it is the same size as the one for the generator if that helps.
 
Anyone know the thickness of the swim platform between the topside (nonskid area) and the engine compartment? I'm installing a davit setup and need to know how long the bolts need to be. I found 1-1/2" button head stainless at Home Depot but I think I may need 2-1/2" or longer.

All, looking for a cradle/Davit system. I really like the Nautley. Have emailed them and tried to call with no success. This is a family owned company and may be so small that they actually shut down for vacations etc. does anyone know if they are still in business and/or a good alternative? Thanks, Bizzy Bee
 
I believe that has been discontinued for years. I suspect the OP was asking for a model number of something that is currently available and will fit in the hole.
