I replace my cockpit fridge this spring and there was a gfci plug behind the fridge, I am not sure if it is the same for an ice maker.

My boat came with an icemaker from the factory, but it was removed and replaced with a refrigerator prior to delivery by the dealer. It has the same GFI plug.

Ok thanks just left Costco with a 3" King. I've been asking a lot of questions on this thread and I really appreciate everyone helping out! Really awesome! Thanks again

I just dealt with that a few weeks ago myself. As far as I could tell there is not any type of drain as it is not supposed to get wet in there. My solution was to cut out a section of the caulk around the bottom seal between the refrigerator/icemaker and step. Every time I have pulled the refrigerator I have found standing water back there. This spring it had quite a bit more water than usual, but I attribute that to cleaning and the method I was temporarily using to cover the boat while canvas was being replaced.

Well, I came across this today. It seems I had mice on board at some time, making its nest in there. I eradicated the mice a few years ago, but wasn't diligent on finding where they lived. Turns out it was in there. I started spraying with a hose to flush out the debris and quickly realized I created mouse poop soup. That was a serious PITA to clean.

I did a search and I'm still confused. I want to replace ceiling lights with led. I have little round circle lights and another kind of round circle that's a bit bigger. If I want to keep the same warm white look, which led bulbs do I buy? And what website? Also what watt equivalent if there is a choice. Thanks!!!

I used Dr LED bulbs flat disk with 2 sets of pins(just clip off the set you don't use). Works great with variable voltage. LEDs cut my power usage at anchor tremendously.

Guys 2 quick questions, did my vessel view/smartcraft come from the factory in 2004? And if it was installed later than 2004 how do i verify engine hours, i dont see any hour meters? Thanks

I have a 2006 340 sundancer, I have a vibration between 15 & 1800 rpms. I've checked the props, the running gear underneath, zincs. Everything seems normal there. In the engine compartment, I checked the shaft as much as possible. All connections seemed tight. I have V drive transmissions.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank! Jack

The Smartcraft was likely factory installed. Regardless of when it was installed, the hours are stored on the ECM (onboard engine computer) and will display properly on your current Smartcraft or any upgrade you decide to do. If the ECMs were changed for any reason, your hours would have been reset to zero, unless Mercury has a procedure to update the hours in the new ECM and that procedure was actually performed. The ECM method of storing engine hours is far more accurate than a gauge type engine hour meter.

Have you checked engine alignment? That is a highly suspect item for that type of issue and one that is often ignored or overlooked.

i was looking at the marine beam website for led bulbs for cabin, 18$ a bulb seems a little ridiculous, anybody found a cheaper place? if so can you send part numbers for that website also. thanks!!

They aren't cheap, but I am going on over three years with my bulbs from marine beam, and have had zero issues. The saying "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

Hello all
I am wondering if anyone has had any issues with the dashboard push button modules? On My port side switch module the buttons have become difficult to push like the rubber has gotten hard and I can't turn things on and off this includes my bilge blower and my trim tabs. Does anyone know if there are replacement modules available and where I can buy them.
