Make me glad to have mine still in the storage building....but I feel for you.

Did the survey a couple of days ago on a 2006 340 with 8.1s. Found one blade slightly bent on the port wheel. Anyone know what a fair price is for reconditioning the two wheels. Both look to be in good shape condition wise, no dings or repairs needed with exception of the one blade. Stock wheels and I am in the Tampa, FL area. Any advice is welcome. Thnx

is there a way to tell if a boat has the soft top option from a picture of the canvas from the outisde?

Here's what one without the soft top will look like. Supports parallel to the arch

The soft top will have parallel and perpendicular supports that you will be able to see from the outside. It's it's almost like an umbrella. Convex on the outside.

Sferg has a soft top. Hopefully he chimes in here with a photo.

I had my two 21"x23" 4 blade props done by a shop in Thousand Islands/ New York State. One req'd some welding for a bend/balanced and the other, check pitch and balanced - $680.

thanks im looking at an 06 with a soft top, i was trying to steer clear of them due to chipping cracking around arch. any thoughts?

Scratch and dent: $825

Onthejob,

What model isotherm is that and where did you find it scratch and dent? My Norcold works great but the surround is all rusty. I pulled it out this weekend and brought it home. I was grinding out the rust and in some places it is rusted it is all the way through the frame. I can live with it but for $825 I would love to have an isotherm. I replaced my galley fridge last summer and it is much quieter and more room than the norcold it replaced.

Per the eBay description: ISOTHERM DRAWER 49 SS REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER AC/DC 115/230V 12-24 VDC

I can no longer pull up the eBay listing from October. It sounded like it was a Grady White dealership in North Carolina. It appears the buyer saw this tiny door ding on his new boat during delivery and wanted a new fridge swapped out. It's not even noticeable. I have eBay notify me anytime an Isotherm is listed. I wanted to replace my galley fridge too but it still works well. Tons of compliments on the cockpit fridge. I love it the most because I don't have to take a knee any longer to get something out of the cockpit fridge because it's a drawer.

This is it here and the price use to be $1,600: http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?path=-1|2276179|2276204|2276226|2530781&id=1770201
and because it was eBay the seller shipped it UPS for $25 instead of truck delivery

It is what it is. I have some cracking in the radius, and can hear it move occasionally, especially with the isinglass down, but it looks nice and it hasn't collapsed the arch yet. Overall, I am pleased with it, as I don't have to worry about support poles burning my isinglass. Additionally the panels hang a bit closer to vertical, which makes them last longer.

Thanks for the info. I will do a search before I put the Norcold back in. I can't stomach paying full price for it but if I can find a deal like you did I might go for it.

The Isotherm in the galley is an awesome upgrade although still expensive. Much quieter and looks great too.

Wow that looks great in the galley. Did you have to cut the opening to get it to fit?

Only a little bit on the top. Width was fine. There is a board on the floor that the old fridge sat on that needs to come off but overall very easy install.

Need some advice please. Looking to transport my 2004 340 from freshwater (NH) to saltwater (Portsmouth RI). Has anyone transported via hauling company? Any recommendations? Do props need to be removed? Boat is still winterized and wrapped from last season. Anything other than new bottom paint and replacing zinc's that I should be concerned with.

I used to live up there. I used Miles Marine to transport my 340 from Portsmouth to winni. I then had them transport it to North Carolina a few years later. They are a great family run business. Then will only remove items above your arch. Very fair price. You can PM me for details.

Thanks, Miles is one that I am talking to. Good to hear they come recommended by a club member.

Has anyone changed the galley faucet? If so is there anything special about the one installed by Sea Ray or will residential unit swap in?

Hello. I'm trying to run power and subwoofer cables to the salon seating area and made it as far as the area on the starboard side cup holder area and need to get past the bulkhead. Any tips would be awesome.

Thanks,Eddie

Is this the bulk head you are referring to? If so I drilled a hole to the right of the white calk. Push the wires through and they will be behind the radio head unit.
