Very nice, looks great. That stainless steel high five looks like a work of art!

So dinged my prop this weekend. Getting reconditioned for use as my spare. Ordered a 14x19 Turning Point 4-blade. Let you all know next week how it handles.

On a different note...the last two times out when I've pulled my drain plug I've had water run out for 1-2 min. Ran the bilge manually this last time prior to trailering with nothing coming out. Had a bunch of wet kids, tubes, boards, etc in/out over a 4-5 year period. Normal?

The Plug draining that much water is pretty normal for me after a day of water sports. You would be surprised how much water comes off the kids and things when they come in the boat. I do however have a loose drain plug plate. I am not sure if mine is leaking but might be something to check anyway. When I tighten the plug the whole outer mount moves so I need to pull it off and see what the problem is. I should bring it back to the dealer but they are 45min away and by the time I go back and forth with them about getting it done in time to use it I would feather just fix it myself as long as there isn't any damage behind the plate.

I am in the middle of some upgrades.
I added a fresh water holding tank, pump and transome shower because we are in salt water a lot and it is nice to clean the salt off when you get out of the water. It is a 9gal tank so should be good for a day of rinsing off.
I upgraded the stereo to a better Sony head unit and upgraded stock speakers to JL audio MX650 and wow it sounds great even with no amp. (I had basic stereo from the factory with only 2 generic speakers in cockpit)
I added a 12v port to the back next to the step so I can plug my toy inflator pump into it to blow things up.
I have Lumitec mini seablaze multi color under water lights to add
I have Lumitec blue accent led lighting to add to the cockpit as well
I will take pics some pics to post once I am done

Jeremy looks like you've been busy. I'm VERY interested in that transom shower upgrade. Please share some details and pics when you can. Wife would love that one. Thanks, Brian

Thanks makes me feel better. I wonder why the bilge doesn't pump it out. It isn't much but still. I wonder if the boat sits in the water so that a gallon or so doesn't reach the bilge.

Here are some pics of the water tank, pump and transome shower. I used web straps to hold the tank down so that if I need to remove the floor to get to the bilge pump it won't be hard to remove. It takes up some room in that storage compartment but not too bad. I wanted to keep it as far forward and on the center line so I don't meet up the trim of the boat when it is full. It weights about 80lbs when full.

Took a pic under the front of the engine. The bilge sits up on approx a 1/2 platform. Go figure.

Wow that install came out real nice. I'd never be able to do that on my own. Where did you find the parts? Maybe I'll get my Marina to put it in for me.;)

I put my new turning point 4 blade Hustler 14x19 prop on and got out on the water today. Hole shot WAY better. Planes out at 12-15 mph (speedo) rather than 20 mph with the 14.5x19 Black Max. I think the top end stayed the same. Handles better in turns as well. I think a 4 blade 14x19 is the right prop.

The water tank, fill, vent , fill and vent tubing and pump came from west marine, the white supply lines are pex from Home Depot. The shower handle outlet come from somewhere online but I can't remember the site, I bought it last year and never got around to putting it in. It worked great this past weekend. Had a boat full of people and everyone got to shower off and had water to spare.

Thanks and sorry so late. Email notifications not working for me. Ever get the SeaDek installed?

I am actually going to put it in tomorrow. It came right in before the 4th and haven't had a chance to get to it yet. I am looking forward to having it installed.

Just joined the SPX club yesterday, hoping to get her out on the water today.

Been lurking a little, few questions.

1. Is there anywhere to buy OEM Sea Ray parts online or is there at least a parts diagram/list available?
2. Anyone have the part number/source for the OEM dash toggle switches (need to add at AUX and Lighting)?
3. What are the in cabin ambient lighting package locations? Anyone found a good aftermarket solution?
4. Anyone added a subwoofer? Infinite Baffle? Where?
5. Do the base stock RF 6.5s do OK amped, or are they garbage?

So, I went ahead and added the table/mount to my 19 SPX. Nice to have a place to set down food while eating.
Bridog, this looks great, can you help with a source/ part numbers?

I tend to be a bit of a forum junky and have been active in automotive forums for a long time. Hope I can be a contribution.

TIA

Your local Ararat dealer can order any part you might need and has a parts book.

I had the dealer put in the lighting on our boat. I modified it from the standard a bit by replacing the 10" strip in the aft starboard seat corner with a 40" strip. Turned out great. The standard lighting has 4 10" strips located in the forward facing bow seats, the captain's arm rest and the back seat. Also 1 40" strip along the port seat.

GATORB8. Welcome to CSR and the 190 SPX. Your going to love it. As far as the table it's a Nautiic Star Circle SKU TC 7050. Got it from CSR sponsor marineteak.co.uk. Great company and fast delivery to the States. The shipping is about 33 dollars. You will save that money off table by using the CSR discount code RAY10 at checkout. Here's a link to that thread. http://clubsearay.com/showthread.ph...ables-Worldwide-Delivery?highlight=Marineteak

The table mount, base and floor mount is standard Searay issue from Garelick. (GAR 75340) Wholesale marine usually is the least expensive and they are another good company to deal with. Good luck and post some pics of your boat when you can. Brian

Well we had a great first day on the water on Saturday, albeit with a couple snags. We picked up the boat with 9 hours on it, and looks perfect except the prop is a little tore up.

The Sony head unit crapped out on us right off the bat, probably spent an hour triple checking fuses to no avail. Bench test Sunday morning confirmed the HU was bad, I replaced it with a $30 cheapo from AutoZone while I plan the full system overhaul. Pleasantly surprised with the performance of a "Dual" brand $30 HU, even has Bluetooth.

Current Plans:
HU - Possibly just use JL Audio MBT-CRX installed at the helm, although an additional transom remote would be nice
Amp - Kenwood KAC-M8005
Speakers - Ordered a second set of the stock RF primes to try
Subwoofer - Still trying to figure out the best way to approach, IB/Box/Tube

I was able to find the replacement pins for the stock connector, so I'll be able to repin it and use the stock harness with no butt connectors.

Dizzy, any way you have some picture of the strips and the install?

Thanks! I'll look into those, Wholesale Marine looks like a pretty solid site.

I'll post some pics next time we get out. Wholesale marine is great. I would also look at West Marine for parts. One upgrade if you have the port side bench is to add a support underneath the rear cushion (if using as a bench). FG3 posted about it early in the thread. I made my own and it is much sturdier!

Good advice, did that one as well.

Does anyone have the mooring cover for 21 SPX? Any way you could post a picture? I currently have the bow and cockpit covers that came with my boat but was thinking about getting the mooring cover, I think it might be more appropriate for the amount of towing I do. I like the fact that the mooring covers typically cover the boat all the way to the rub rail. If you do have the mooring cover is it more of a nylon material than the canvas that is the bow and cockpit cover?
