Love it, been thinking of doing that. What sink and faucet did you go with and where did you get them. Been thinking of runningba hot line to it for hot / cold water

As I live in Sweden faucet is from Ikea, for outdoor kitchens. Matched perfectly
Zink from general store in Sweden but can also be found abroad just spend enought time on google. Dropped in perfectly no cutting needed. Beleive it was 265 mm in diameter

Hey Crew, We have canvas! Well some anyway, guy is supposed to come back tomorrow for the isinglass. So the Queen and I went to the fuel dock for pump out and fresh gas, it was on 1/2 put in $150 @ $4.15 gal. Our marina gives us $.20 off. Pump out went well.

So while taking lines off noticed the generator sounded funny, looked up and no raw water coming out of the exhaust, immediately shut it down. Tune up and water pump coming up. Next glitch, my trim gauges don’t work So I’m not sure where the outdrives are and hard to see under the swim platform, went full throttle and boat would not get on plane plus throwing a ton of water (think roster tail) I’ve read about jumping the solenoids to get the drives to move. Trim pumps run I can hear them. So wondering if there’s a way to tell if they are all the way down without pulling the boat out or getting in the water.

Anyway we had a fun maiden run.

My generator did the same thing for the first run this year. Close sea cock, Take top off basket. Fill with water and re install lid. Open sea cock and run. Probably have a air pocket

Thanks Jeff, I have run it a few times inport and it had a good bit of water coming out the exhaust. It’s hard to start, takes 2-3 long cranks to get it running. PO barely used it. It only has 250 hours on it. Who knows when it was serviced, like I said before the only receipt that came with the boat were for the drives in 2017. Can’t hurt to go through it.
But I should add I will be going through the sea cock and strainer as well.

Ok, so as I posted earlier I don’t think the drives are all the way in the water. My old boats had the three button trim switches on the dash.
So stupid question before I bilge dive and check reservoirs and solenoids. Pressing the trim switches aft lowers/puts them in the water. Pressing them forward raises/lifts the drives out of the water. Also like on my older boats I should be able to hear and tone change (for lack of a better word) when the drive reaches bottom, Correct?
Thanks Crew.

You should here them bottom out on pump. A change in tone is a good clue they are all the way down
Thanks Jeff, that’s what I thought, also FINALLY answered my switch question, member on another site had his on the bench and I could see the lettering on the port throttle, switch forward, bow up (aka trim up) switch aft bow down. I will be messing with it tomorrow.

Jon.
I had similar issues with drive tilt mechanisms. Did some testing before splashing last weekend and found the following.
Switch mechanism and motors work fine and your directions confirmed :). The directional indicator had fallen off the throttle shifter. new one ordered to fit next week.
My stbd motor raises only about 10cm on the drive trim button.
My port motor raises all the way out on the drive trim button.
BOTH motors raise all the way out on the Trailer button then lower all the way on the drive trim buttons.
I suggest you lower both drives on the drive trim buttons, then raise all the way up on the trailer button. You can then time the drives down on the trim buttons to when you hear the tone of the motor change.
My gauges are a bit erratic so I do prefer to know timing of the units up n down. To be honest, when running into shallow water the V8s let you know when they are getting close to the surface and I only use this control for preventing prop damage approaching a beach. Using trim tabs only for ride adjustment... just my 3 cents but hope it helps.

My boat for best performance, trim tabs all the way down and drives all the way in all the time. I only play with trim tabs if boat is listing one side or another. Planes best that way.
Onlt time i ever play with the drives is for shallow water. And what i did was put a small sticker from a p touch by the throttle. Up in front of throttle and down behind throttle. It helps with confusion. Simplify things. But my guages and everything works. Just know if you bring the drives up with the switch they will only let the rams go to 21 inch extension. Spec for boat, if you use the trailer button they will go all the way up. Never use trailer when in motion, could go way to far up. My 2 cents

Girly girl,
All you need to do to the genny is very easy. Fuel filter, oil change, zink and impeller. I do this simple service every year and dont have any problems. And just a fyi. My genny take a bit to start. About 10 seconds or so of cranks and vroom. I start it atleast 1 time a week and run for 30 minutes to keep it in good shape. I dropped 2 grand getting it running when i got the boat. New carb,, fuel pump, fuel lines. Dont want to do that again. It was from no use from the PO.

Yep ordered the exact same kit and a carb rebuild kit as well. So as it gets here I’m in.

Hey Crew, so I’m on the boat, Trim switches, Top one works I can here the drive lift and then I hear the drive bottom out when lowering. Bottom switch lifts but then clicks when trying to lower the drive which switch is for which drive. I’m not climbing down in the bilge tonight. All my labels are missing.

Thanks!
