Thanks Jeff, I have run it a few times inport and it had a good bit of water coming out the exhaust. It’s hard to start, takes 2-3 long cranks to get it running. PO barely used it. It only has 250 hours on it. Who knows when it was serviced, like I said before the only receipt that came with the boat were for the drives in 2017. Can’t hurt to go through it.My generator did the same thing for the first run this year. Close sea cock, Take top off basket. Fill with water and re install lid. Open sea cock and run. Probably have a air pocket
That is great Joakim, couldn’t find the faucet on IKEA, you wouldn’t have the part number handy?Just sharing latest upgrade, no clean photo taken yet

Thanks Jeff, that’s what I thought, also FINALLY answered my switch question, member on another site had his on the bench and I could see the lettering on the port throttle, switch forward, bow up (aka trim up) switch aft bow down. I will be messing with it tomorrow. You should here them bottom out on pump. A change in tone is a good clue they are all the way down

Yep ordered the exact same kit and a carb rebuild kit as well. So as it gets here I’m in.Girly girl,
All you need to do to the genny is very easy. Fuel filter, oil change, zink and impeller. I do this simple service every year and dont have any problems. And just a fyi. My genny take a bit to start. About 10 seconds or so of cranks and vroom. I start it atleast 1 time a week and run for 30 minutes to keep it in good shape. I dropped 2 grand getting it running when i got the boat. New carb,, fuel pump, fuel lines. Dont want to do that again. It was from no use from the PO.View attachment 106379
