I want to replace my old mattress with memory form. any one knows where to order? I guess I can customize a king size my self......6 inch should be good enough

Buy a memory foam mattress from Walmart (queen or king, someone chime in) buy a cheap electric carving knife while you're there. Use the old foam as a pattern and carve a new mattress. Easy project. The electric knife is the key.

I was going to do the same thing, but after checking the original foam was in good shape.

Bought a 2" memory foam from Sam's Club. A new cover was done with the memory foam included with the original foam.

I'm happy with the results.

I am confused. Can someone clarify what anccillaries are powered by the main battery switches. In my boat I have two mains ,on/off selections. I will call the Port #1 and Starboard #2. Port has one battery,SB has two. I believe that when I select #1 on,it only powers the port engine,no ancillaries. If I use #2 only, it powers SB engine and ALL the house systems, ie water pump, radio, toilet, cabin lights, etc....Is this how it works on your 310SA or am I confused. I looked at the wiring diagram also and this is where I derived my answer.Thank-you for clarification.​
 
With the three battery setup, the port battery will be connected to the port engine. The two starboard batteries are connected together and provide power to the starboard engine and most all boat accessories. This setup allows the port battery to be dedicated to engine starting, so if the other two batteries become weak the engine can still be started. There is also an emergency start solenoid switch on the helm that can be activated in the event of a weak battery. This switch will temporarily connect the batteries together for additional starting voltage.

The batteries are connected to a charging system that operates from the shore power, or generator. The circuit breaker on the main 110v AC panel should be on for the battery charger/converter.

The battery switches are for port and starboard and both switches must be turned on before starting and during engine operation.

This is the same setup I have. You can say that the starboard battery / engine is also the house battery. Now in may case the third battery is for my gen set. The nice thing is that you should have an emergency switch on the dash that sends battery power from one side to the other. I would understand that the two batteries on the SB is just to have additional amps since it is powering other items. An important items is the type of batteries that you have; starting, deep cycle, there size, capacity is important. They should be the same and not mixed since they do have different functions and charge and discharge differently.

ICE MAKERS -

I am looking for a good ice maker solution for the coming summer. I have seen some pics where folks added a fridge to the cockpit locker, but I am not sure I want to get that invested in it, and I don't want to completely lose that locker. I am debating getting a small countertop unit that I can use on an as-needed basis, but also wondering what other solutions everyone has found. I don't mind buying ice, but the wetbar cooler is not insulated so it all melts too fast. Who has found a good solution to keep the ice stocked?
 
I purchased this unit about a year ago. I highly recommend it. You produce what you need no loss of ice. The unit can make two sizes. I do recommend the use of bottled water and not tap to avoid calcium deposit on the cooling coils. Also it's important to always dry the unit before storage helps maintain it clean for use. I leave a towel keeping the door open just about 1/2" to avoid moisture after drying. All in all its a nice item to have for the cost.
 
Does anyone know where I can get the front window piston unit. The one that opens the small center window. I tried finding it in the parts manual but it isn't there. I even tried E bay with no luck. Also I am not really sure what its call. Thanks.

Did you mean to include a pic or model number for the unit you are describing or are you referring to the home depot unit from the other post?
