Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

Does anyone have their v berth mirror cracked. I purchased the boat and it has a slight split right in the middle, interestingly enough, saw another 310 with the same. Wonder if this was a defect or a hard slam down causing this to happen.

I am thinking of replacing, but concerned about messing with the interior vinyl...

Any thoughs....

Thanks! Mine is a 1998 and they do not have them.
Bob

I had mine replaced when I bought it because it was cracked. I had to get in there last season to track down a leak, the mirror is a standard rectangle; it's just the opening in front of it that's oval. Shouldn't be a big deal - remove one of the sides and slide the mirror out.

was a topside fridge ever offered on the 1998-2002 310DA ?

I don't see where there would be room.. I do know some have outfitted a small fridge in the small locker by the port side door..

Thanks I am still looking for a 2002 310DA with stern drive but have not sen a topside fridge on the list of options.. IMO this is just a much better boat then the 300DA.

I am looking to trade so I am looking at dealer inventory.. Prices are 92k area plus frt... no fixer upers low hours, no saltwater.. I am thinking they should be high 70's low 80's and I'm looking for 2002 models.

thanks for the shout back. after we gave up the slip for gerry's 310, we have gone back and forth as to keep or sell.

Thanks Keith...will give this a go....

Also, spoke with Sea Ray today...they said once I remove the speakers, the fwd panel just comes out. Sounds simple enough.

Pop the cloth grills off... the rest will make sense from there.

So they pull straight out? Do I use a screwdriver or something? It would be great if you could show a picture of them off so I know what is back there. I tried taking them off durng the summer and could not budge them ( the cloth covers) Maybe I didn't apply enough force?

I am going down to the boat tomorrow....if I get started on this, will snap a few photos....so from what I gather, the grills snap off and the speakers will be screwed into...once speakers are removed, should have access to remove the vinyl lined interior bulkhead (not sure if that is what its called)

Dear 310'rs I need you help!

Can those of you with the 350 MPI MEI V drives help me with my dip stick? NO I am not joking... It's a long story, but I have two different dip sticks one on each engine and I have lost track as to the correct one.

Could any of you gents or gems open your engine room pull out your dipstick and tell me what number you have at the top of the stick where it meets the handle (yellow plug)? I need to know if we use the stick with a number 2 or 3 on it.

There are two part bumbers used for this engine, and yes they are different.

P/N's: 861942T2 & 861942T3

I was down at the boat yesterday...thanks guys for the advice on removeing the forward bulkhead. Very simple...the speaker grills are a snug fit, if you put some pressure on the side with a flat tip screw drive and push some pressure on it while prying out, they come out without to much jostling. Se the screws behind the speakers. Will plan on replacing my mirror in the next few weeks.

To Ardeprint, yes the dip sticks mark at different position. I will check during the weekend and comeback to you,but maybe you can check it at www.perfprotech.com they have the parts images and part numbers.

Ardeprint ,I check and yes our engines use 2 different dip sticks #3 on starboard and #2 on port
