That's incredible.. Never knew anyone could actually use that spot for something useful! I think the 330's+ have an ice maker in that spot.. I could be wrong. Also, yes.. pictures would be great! Did you also remove the bed trim around the mattres?? I was thining about doing that. Do you have any pictures?
