Ok So after a few minutes thinking and a miter saw... a few pieces of PVC trim board from my home remodel glued together here's what I did: You can definitely see the angle of our transoms in this pict...

Has anyone figured out how to get the airfilter out of the A/C unit on their 1998 310 DA? The prefilter is easy, however, there is a filter right on the unit, that I can't see to get out by lifting it up, to the side, etc, etc, etc...
Had a friend take a look, and he's never seen one in that position before (under the stairs so tightly vs. under the vberth)
On my 2002 the filter under the stairs is easy....the one on the unit slides upward and outward....
Looking for someone who has a 310 DA, and installed a TV... brainstorming ideas on where to mount an LED TV for the cabin area...
I replaced the original TV with a 15" flat screen and mounted it on the same pull-out/rotating tray the old tv was on. The dimensions were perfect so it slides back into the same opening when not in use, and there was room on the tray behind the tv to store a DVD player. I drilled holes through the base stand the new tv came with so I can mount it to the wood tray.

Unscrew the gauge board and lean it forward. Cycle through all of the options on the back of each gauge (V6, V8, etc) and return it to what it was set at.
We had a silimar problem and this fixed it.
there is 2x scew who hold the plexiglass door to the sliding track. the black track will stay there and only the plexiglass will come. there is also 4 screw on the top of the plexiglass who hold the roler bugy. then you will be able to remove the door. take you time it is not easy to get it out but with some patience you will get it
Stephane,
Thank you -- I've tried to PM and email you, I've seen your upgrade pictures. I see you did the Novakool 3800... Is there any reason you didn't choose the R4500?
So for the door, close it, unscrew all the screws and just 'bend' it to get the door off the rails?
Thank you!
Has anyone gotten rid of the horrid gold cabinet latches and trim in their Sea Ray 310? Where did you find the parts? Pictures?
We had Marinemax replace every gold push-latch and all gold ribbon trim in the cabin as part of the purchase of our 2001. The only thing they couldn't find in 'brushed or 'silver' was the trim rings for the 3 or 4 overhead lights. We've left those and never think about them.
They also re upholstered the booth seats to get rid of the puffy corners. These steps completely transformed and modernized the interior. I have pics somewhere that I'll try to find and/or will take some the next I'm over at the boat.
edit - found a few from my iPhone from the last day of last season.. not great, but you get the idea:
