I'm getting ready to install my Lowrance hds-8 with sturcture scan and fuel senser. I'm not to sure about drilling all the holes in the boat. I looks like it will need about a 1 inch or maybe larger for the cables for the head unit. Anybody have any pics of there larger head unit installed. I would like to get the best place the first time. Thanks

Here's the new used reciever out of the truck with the audio input for the TV. Now I can hear the TV and have good sound. It's a JVC kd-9750. Pretty nice unit, Install a Jvc kd-nx5000 in the truck with nav system and a hard drive, dvd. I don't think it sounds as good as the one now in the boat.

Here I have four new Polk DXI-650. I have one more pair of them, don't know if I want them in the arch or not.
One more thing I may or not do is install a new VHF radio.

Found out over winter why boat over heated.Some how got a piece of plastic caught in nipple on main engine water pump starving heads from getting full amount of water ended up with warped heads.now has redone heads,gaskets,main water pump,new bellows and pick up tube,exhauast flapper assemlys as others melted and a new top.Bring on the nice weather can't wait to get it in water and try her out.

What did you paint bottom with I am sanding mine now and barrier painting it then was going to bottm paint green.What did you use for white?

When sanding was complete, I just buffedn and waxed, my boat sits on a trailer.

Thanks my boat also sits on trailer but mine has alot of spider cracks so I need to paint it to protect it.

Sorry, I haven't read all 46 pages yet, so forgive me if this has been discussed. I have a topside leak that results in a wet starboard side wall in the aft cabin whenever I don't cover the 270. Last fall I pulled the radar arch and resealed everything and was sure that would resolve the issue but it didn't. Anyone solve a similar issue or have any ideas. It's a 1991 270.
