Hi,
Anyone know who manufactured the OEM flag poles for Sea Ray in 2007 ?
Our 260 Sundeck was missing the pole when we purchased it used.
Might show up in the Spring upon delivery but it's 50/50 at best.
Sea Ray OEM P/N is 1838413.

I might be able to source one over the Winter with dimensions from another owner.

Thank You.

If you don't find it or the OEM... check out theoriginalswiveler.com. I have one for the transom and a burgee size for the bow rail. Great products and they are rock solid on the rails.

Thank you for the replies.
I'll contact Southco & see if they can match it up.
I saw a recessed pole pocket on the boat.

I am curious as to if anyone knows who the supplier is for the recessed pole holder. My assumption would be that it is also magnetic like the pole itsself, but I have been unable to verify that is its a Southco product. It seems like the Southco magnetic pole is relatively easy to source, but not the holder. Any hints would be appreciated.

Is there a contact phone number for Sea Ray ?
Perhaps an email address other than that on the site?
I have a few questions on our recently purchased boat.
4 emails to date, not even a hint of a reply.

I would try Ugly Fish Inc. http://www.uglyfishinc.com/ I purchased some of the Southco Thru Hull Exhaust Flapper inserts from them several years ago. There are not many suppliers in the US that will sell Southco parts direct to individuals.

The part number for the socket is M7-37-9507583 . Depending on location you may want to order the drain attachment too and route drain tubing to an appropriate location. See below pic for snip from the Southco catalog.

Thanks for the info on the Southco Flag Socket. Let the search begin.

Hi,
Great Lakes Skipper has a couple different stainless X 1" poles available. 24" or 33".
Anyone know which is close to the OEM length ?

Boat arrived here this week. Little else to do to it other than clean & polish. Looking forward to hitting the river sometime mid-June. Snowed here today !

33" for the 260DA's and larger. 24" for boats under 26'.

Tonka Boater,
Thank You for the reply. I'm in a 260 Sundeck. Right in the middle but thinking the 24" would be correct ?
Haven't had a flag on a boat before, not sure what I'm looking for.

I would go 24" on a Sundeck. I have a 24" on my 24' Cobalt and it looks like a perfect fit.

I’m hoping to revive this thread. We’ve recently purchased a 2007 290 DA and it has the flag pole mount but no pole. I can’t find any oth the poles mentioned in this thread. Any leads? Thanks!

Make contact with Great lakes Skipper. They had a selection when I purchased mine. Give them the OEM P/N if you can. Thread above indicated yours would have been sold new with a 33" pole.

If you have the OEM Southco magnetic socket, the Southco magnetic poles are occasionally available on Great Lakes Skipper and eBay. You can also use the Taylor 1” stainless flag poles. They are just the right diameter to fit in the Southco magnetic socket. You can buy a magnet exactly the right size and glue it inside so the pole stays put. I did this with mine and it works great.

The same flag pole setup is still being used today by Sea Ray. It won't necessarily be the cheapest route, but it will certainly be easy... "Hello Mr. Parts manager at my local dealer?. Please order a flag pole for my boat." Say goodbye and hang up. ;) Well, you get the jist.

Or, as mentioned, lookup the part number for your boat and try GLS. Or see if you can find it on Southco's website, then Google.

Thanks. I've tried all of the non-dealer options already so I was hoping this Hail Mary would help me avoid going through a dealer. Ah well. Thanks again!

I will consider the Taylor DIY method, though. That could work!
