OEM Flag Pole

The same flag pole setup is still being used today by Sea Ray. It won't necessarily be the cheapest route, but it will certainly be easy... "Hello Mr. Parts manager at my local dealer?. Please order a flag pole for my boat." Say goodbye and hang up. ;) Well, you get the jist.

Or, as mentioned, lookup the part number for your boat and try GLS. Or see if you can find it on Southco's website, then Google.

I don’t know what Sea Ray is installing today, but the Southco OEM parts that Sea Ray installed on my 330DA in 2009 have been discontinued in the US. A company in Sweden called Onmar obtained the rights to these parts from Southco in some type of corporate succession transaction. They now sell the parts from there, and they will ship to the US. (www.onmar.se.)

You know, now that you mention it, that sounds familar. Something about Mobella got bought by Southco and then Onmar was created? Something like that, anyways. Totally forgot about that.

Either way, for as long as I can remember, the SS magnetic flag poles have been the same - meaning, a new staff should still mate with an old socket.

I found the pole through Onmar and ordered it. Thanks, all!

For anyone else who might be looking, Sea Ray has a bunch in stock for $98 plus shipping. I cancelled my Onmar order and went that route.

Did you call up Sea Ray directly to order this or a local dealer? Did you need part number or anything, or just gave them your boat type? I think it was the first or second day out on our new to us boat with that flag pole before it went overboard.

That’s a bummer, pyro. I called a dealer and gave the part number. The part number is 1838481 and I purchased it through Sea Ray of Cincinnati. Contact: toni@searayofcincinnati.com.
