occupy D.C. tent blows onto L street

The fact that it might be tarped does not mean that something can't fall from elsewhere on the truck.

I guess being dumb a$$ truck driver for over 33yrs & 1.2 mil miles under my belt I don't know nothing. :smt089

Sorry for wasting your and my time on this. :smt001

Around here it is rarely material from the load that is falling off the trucks, rather the overflow material from loading that sits on fenders, bedsides, and tailgates waiting for the next bump in the road to fall and start rolling and bouncing down the highway. At interstate speeds I have seen 1-2 inch rocks fly 10 feet in the air after falling off a tailgate. The worst trucks are the type with a unloading conveyor belt, they lose material all the time and the tarp is of no use for that problem.

Yes it does happen once in a great while.

But tell me how a rock can jump out from under a tarp ???.

I already told you where they come from. MM

Once again we have strayed from the thread topic. From blowing Occupy tents to tarped truck beds. I love this site. I'll be back with my popcorn in 2 minutes.

So there hasn't been a peep out of the occupy movement for a while now. In the days since the tent incident things have quieted down. At its peak women walking thru Mcpherson Square were being dragged into tents and raped, babies were being left unattended while their parents were getting high and saving us from the 1%. And let's not get started on the rat and bed bug infestation. The other occupiers from freedom plaza moved to Mcpherson Square when their permit expired and slowly they died on the vine. The images I am posting are what's left of occupy DC. Some old boxes, some trash, and a couple hippies. Not to worry though I'm sure all those communists will return after the election to save us from evil corporations so we can return to the 3rd world where they want to see America.
