My Ring cameras pick up deer crossing my back yard in the night but this was a first. Yesterday at 8:30 am.

My backyard is fenced in but has a runway for animals just outside of back portion of fence. A lot of deer travel through their every night, dives my dog nut's. Recently he has made a friend with one and actually stops and looks for him at times. Sometimes it's like is the coast clear?

I cant find the picture but a momma deer parked her little one (and I mean tiny) right next to the hot tub steps.
Scared the crap out of me when I first walked up on it! Mama came and got her the next day...

But in the mean time, how about a pic of one of them chowing on my wife's hostas (wife is not a fan...)

No deer in my hood, eating my shrubs would drive me nuts.

GF lives a block from the James River, lots and lots of woods. She discovered a big buck rubbing it's antlers against one of the bushes, at the front door recently, scared the crap out of her at 2AM.

Man that stuff is like cotton candy to them. We had to up root all of ours and switch to something else.

Oh, Potato Man, daughter got back last week after traveling thru your country. Spent a month in the Dakotas but didn’t say much about it, lived on reservations for a while, I think it depressed her, they are seriously poor. Spent a month In Montana and loved it, relly loved Montana but couldn’t see much Big Sky because of Canadian fire. Then to Idaho, loved it. Said Core de Lien was the cleanest city she ever seen. Like Oregon a lot, spent time in Wyoming but didnt have much to say about it. Then to Utah. She said that state has the most amazing scenery of anywhere, had no words, said you just have to go there. Worked her way east, spent last 10 days with us, then headed for North Carolina where she lived for 5 years. Its her winter base, no idea where she going, talked about heading to Scicily for the winter. I think this picture was Montana. She hella horse rider. Got her a horse at 12. Rides better than any one I know. Except me.
Huh? Deer, wildlife in the yard?

Be careful...when they do weird stuff like that, they probably have rabies.;)
Agreed, it truly looks like they're courting each other, no physical activities to date, but maybe that's coming. I have a regular opossum visitor as well, and a family of raccoons recently that has left.

My wife was feeding racoons but had to stop. Apparently their feces is horrible toxic to pets and humans.

I was working in my yard last fall and walked into my back yard to see this hoss making himself comfortable. He stayed there for a couple hours. When he got up to walk away it was obvious he had a broken leg.

It is very common to see 15 - 30 deer laying in the grass in my back yard and the other 2 yards you can see in this picture. It is really cool until they start eating your plants. We had to quit planting a vegetable garden cause of those things. About the only plants we can have in our yards are boxwoods and burning bushes.

I was just joshin’…..:p

This big guy shows up every so often checks us out and goes about his way.
