Not that I hate the next few months....

I can spend countless hours on a boat either doing not much of anything or all out into a project and be in heaven. Just spent the last 3hrs leaf blowing the lawn for the second time this fall and I'm miserable, ready to sell the house, move to FL, etc.

Same, I just sat down after another bout with leaves. There will be more but I decided I'm done for the year. The rest that are up there still hanging on, I'll get those in the spring....but I'm not quite ready to move to FL :)

Here I ask for Giardiniera on subs, beef sandwiches, combos etc.

Being a Floridian, and now having a historical perspective on this premise,
it seems as though this is one of those "ain't gonna happen" type deals.
When I moved down alot of the locals are very worried about this. A lot of folks moving from CA. Then you look at Dallas / Austin / Houston... they might have a point.

I’ve had a lot of people tell me not to bring my jersey politics with me when i moved to Florida.

What the hell did they think I was primarily getting away from?

PA is ruined because of the people that ran from Jersey and NY because of tax and politics. Then came here voted the same and asked for more government.

I didn’t vote for any of the nonsense there either.

I am basically Burt from Tremors politically

Not implying you. But that's the reaction we give everyone moving to our area. Especially if they are from Jersey or NY. I'm in the rural part of PA all outsiders are suspicious. Nothing personal.

I didn’t read it that way. I‘m absolutely familiar with how the moonbats I used to live near conduct themselves.

I’d be weary of blue state transplants too if I was a native in a free place.

what was this thread about again?

Ok, I finished putting the boat to bed this past weekend, it was 60 here this weekend. Isn't it supposed to be miserable out so it make's you feel better about this!

I totally agree with @SeaNile about the house, I have to do the leaves again before Thanksgiving, wife has a honey do list. I'd much rather waste time on the boat. But is it really wasted time even if you do nothing?

With the wonderful "counters" supplied by @Jus Cruisin and @Skybolt , it reminded me of something that I've been thinking about for a few days now.

You folks in the warmer climates, you know, places where you don't have to winterize your boats, have got to step up your posting game on CSR. I mean sheesh. Help a brother out. It's not even Christmas and some of us have been winterized for 2 months already. Things are getting desparate. We want to hear about trips, see wake photos, discuss operational difficulties you may have encountered on your last outing. Anything!

And for you folks in heated winter storage, you know who you are, when do the projects start? I mean c'mon! We need content. We need a fix. For the love of Mike, start talking about the Spring waxing and which products you're going to use or which new technology you're going to test.

These are trying times. We need all hands on deck!

Plenty of that too though

I HATE this time of year. Even though not in snow country, its still cold, no boat, too cold to go to pistol range, nothing to do but watch Blue Blood reruns.
Even the bikini thread died 4 days ago. They wrapped in blankets.
