Todd, sorry to hear the news. Best wishes and prayers headed your way; I can relate to how you may be feeling; feel free to contact me if you just wanna talk. Best advice has already been said; stay positive, ask lots of questions, and then find the best doctor in the field who knows what your Dad needs; not one who's just guessing. They're out there...
Todd, boy that's tough stuff to deal with, and no such thing as good timing when life's slender threat gets yanked - I've been there with parents and kids - our medical systems can do great things to keep your Dad with you and your family. You all are in my prayers.
Sorry to hear this Todd. It does put things into perspective. My stepfather was checked into the hospital Monday for what is looking like now nothing serious (though they did keep him overnight). Aging parents is a hard thing to come to grips with.
Our prayers are with you and your family, may all go well. I understand how you feel having been through things with my parents, both in a better place now. God Bless.
Thank you all. I read your messages to my Dad yesterday in the hospital with my Mom, Brother and one of My Aunt's and Uncle's were there.
It's very nice to have so many well wishes and prayers coming from so many parts of the world.
I read also to everyone where everybody was from and list is impressive.
Thank you all again
This afternoon, they are attempting to remove one of the tumors whichis close to the surface. The Nuerosurgeon came late last night(we had waited all day to find out the plan to obtain cells to perform a Biopsy, I left at 9PM he came at 9:50) and said he will take the one tumor out instead of just taking a sample for the biopsy.
It's full blown brain surgery, so we're hoping that we get good news.
Wow, I can not imagine the roller coaster you are on. We'll be thinking and praying for your Dad, you, and your family. Let us know how he does with the brain surgery.
