Worked fine last night. Woke up this morning to nothing. The switch on the main panel is on. All fuses I can find seem fine. Amp is showing it is getting power. But no power to cabin head unit or the remote at the helm. Ideas please? Much appreciated.

I have the same problem. How did you check the amp is getting power? what fuses did you check?

my main fuses are in a panel under the steering wheel, the stereo fuse was fine - the electrical schematic in my manual refers to a stereo amplifier breaker on the bilge component board, next to the battery charger. I haven't checked that...nor do I really know if it would be causing the no power issue

How about the little speaker button on the dash panel cluster, is that turned on?

Thanks for the thoughts guys. But I think my situation is going to be different than others. Got the cabin stereo and speakers to work by turning on the button on the dash. The previous owner installed a cockpit stereo that plays only in the cockpit, that stereo will also turn on, but no sound.

Dog, that's interesting, 2 head units (For what?) Post a pic of that set up if you can...

I have a two head unit set up, but my cockpit unit is set to the EIM switch, the cabin unit replaced the cabin DVD player. It powers the cabin speakers. Not helpful for your situation, but I like the two zone setup.

Bruce - you can see my second head unit here in the upper left corner. I love the two HU setup also. Allows different music to be played in the cockpit and cabin. If the kids are down there. Or, when the kids go to sleep no need to adjust what speakers music is coming from.

Miller - so you have to turn the switch on at the dash for your second unit to work? Good news it was professionally installed and I was able to get the name and number of the installer if for some reason I can't figure it out.

The EIM switch only ties to the cockpit unit. I replaced the cabin DVD which is direct wired with a DVD head unit and tied in the cabin speakers. Same as you, the cabin is usually sourced to a DVD, AppleTV or Wii for the kids while we rock XM or pandora in the cockpit.

Well...I might have figured out my issue. My cabin stereo works fine and the cockpit stereo powers up just fine. Just no sound. I think the RCA cable that goes from the stereo head unit to the amp might have been pinched when we pushed the dinette bed back into place. Only thing I can see that could have happened. Will try and change it this weekend and see what happens.
