Hey Guys... thanks in advance for any advice!

Yesterday was the first time I tested the radio since i put her away for the winter. Everything worked fine. I only have music coming out of the cabin so my first thoughts were a blown AMP(since i know the speakers on the deck work off the amp). When testing the AMP I found there to be no power coming in. However the blue (wire that signals the amp to power up) wire DID have 12V on it. I believe that blue wire is turned on by the button at the helm.

I checked every breaker on the boat as well as the 10AMP inline fuse located 6 inches from the amp. Everything checked out fine. Any other ideas where I can look?

Thanks everyone.

Most amps have fuses on them. side or bottom.
Also main feeder fuse may be blown even though it looks ok. Only way to know is ohm meter or replace.
I have a 140amp main to run 2 amps, but each amp also has own onboard fuses.
Blue wire is the trigger when deck is on to fire amp. 12v here is what you want.

ohsnow - thanks for the reply. The problem is definitely BEFORE the amp since i have no juice on the power lines. The only thing i can possibly think of at this point is a bad breaker (even though its not tripped... like you mentioned).

Check the fuse near the battery, in the engine compartment... My fuse corroded the past winter. My fuse is a 60 amp that powers two amps...

Thanks... what does this fuse look like? I'm wondering if our boats are different?!?! I have a fuse/breaker panel in the engine compartment. Are you referring to that?

Also, keep in mind that this is the factory setup. I understand when running new/addition amps the install procedure is to put an inline fuse as close to the battery as possible. I believe my amp is fed via 1 of 3 breaker panels i have in my boat. Specifically the one at the helm (by my feet) that is marked "Stereo 3AMP".

Thanks for the help!

My set is factory. On my boat there is a singe fuse holder attached to the forward wall of the engine compartment It is a blue cable conectted to a red cable.
