Are you leaving today? If so, that's great. I'll be at home for at least part of the weekend. We have major Excavation expanding our backyard.
Of course the weather will be stellar but hey, I'd rather do it now rather than in July
Have a great time everyone.....but I just may be checking in from time to time.... :smt024

We'll be working Saturday and Sunday, :smt089 but will be celebrating our son's 1st birthday on Monday. I don't think I want to be down at our lake anyway, see subject "third most dangerous lake."

I'll be heading down to the boat at 5pm tomorrow after work. I only work 5 minutes away from the marina...

MAKC, if we leave the dock, it will be to anchor at the island just north of Beacon Point.

Looking forward to feet up, and a 12oz in one hand and my rod in the other... (fishing pole)...

I plan on being somewhere between here:

and here, on or in the water:

We'll be on our nearby lake Sat - Mon. The water is up 15 vertical feet. Lots of rain lately. More coming down right now. It's the largest resevoir in Iowa.

Have a great holiday everyone.

Eric, you going to Red Rock or Rathbun? I heard Red Rock is 25 feet high(?) with lots of trees floating.

I agree!

Looking forward to a 4 day weekend.

We have the USAF Thunderbirds performing @ Jones Beach Sat & Sun.

It should be a blast to view them from the boat as opposed to sitting with 200K+ folks on the beach.

Check out WWW.jonesbeachairshow.com

Hopefully I capture some great photos that I can share.

Regards and a safe holiday to all!

John

Heading out to Noyac Bay and around Sag and Shelter Island with some friends Sat and hopefully Sun (probably Fri night too) 2nd summer with the boat, first Memorial Day weekend, 2nd time out this season - we're a bit rusty (us not the Dotty Sea) and still newbies but can't wait. LOVING it.

I'm off to Maine ith the morning to wake the old girl up, give her a rubdown and get 'er overboard. I'll be suffering from "wax on, wax off" syndrome with an advanced case of "buffer biceps" by Saturday pm....

Happy Memorial Day to one and all!

Bill

Half, Rathbun. What a difference a year and a lot of rain makes. Hadn't heard about Red Rock. Stuff floating in the water sounds like the Mississippi. How are things in the river up your way?

I'll be in Punta Gorda Isles, Charlotte Harbour, Ft. Myers (Florida) area this weekend but dang it's really windy here gonna be rough.

That looks like our ramp Midway.. well.. cept the water is still up to where your debris line is... sighhh... can we not just get a happy medium around here!?? heh.. I know come August we'll be wishing for some of this.. ( got another inch or so last night.. more on the way ) Guess it was a good weekend for a wedding after all.

Oh, and one more thing...

Here here!

Thank you to all the people that have sacrificed their lives, time with their families and backyard BBQ's or boating outings for us who are able to keep our country safe from harm and FREE to enjoy it! Hoorah!
