NO MORE POSTING!!!!

Bill,
Buy yourself a Porter Cable 7424. This is the only way to wax a boat. I can do the entire 420 above the rub rail in a couple hours.

regards
Skip

Eric, the river was in great shape 2 weeks ago. I'll find out tomorrow afternoon if anything has changed. Have a safe weekend to you and the rest of the CSR. Thank you to all of our Veterans.

Oh, and one more thing...

When having a cold one this weekend, raise it to the sky and salute our men and women in the forces!!!
Indeed!

Amen to that Capt. Morgan. And hats off and thanks to all the members here who were or are in the service. Thanks to all of you/us.
Here here!

Thank you to all the people that have sacrificed their lives, time with their families and backyard BBQ's or boating outings for us who are able to keep our country safe from harm and FREE to enjoy it! Hoorah!

Here, here!!
While out this weekend, let everyone take a quiet moment (preferably at anchor enjoying a quiet cup of coffee and the sunrise), to thank and remember the selfless men and women who made this fun possible and ongoing.....without them our plans would be very different.
I will be enjoying a Cascade Mountains lake filled with many beautiful Sea Rays and great people. Good food, cold beer, fish jumping just off the swim platform.....

Is it Friday yet!

I took the day off so my friend can drive my trailer to the ramp and SPLASH my boat. I can't wait. I did everything I wanted to do in spring prep, so I hope the cruise to my dock is uneventful. If all goes well I too will be on Long Island Sound this weekend.

TTone and CT gents - If you come to captains cove in Black Rock Harbor in Bridgeport, look me up on "B" dock ("GETAWAY VEHICLE"). Sunday there is usually a band on the deck and transients are free.

Have fun all.

Ok those that are left over here's the rules:
No Cheeto stains on the couch
Don't touch the lamps or the art on the mantle
Put your empties in the carboard box on the porch and not in the garbage

I will be going to Silver Bay. Drop the anchor, put on a CD, have a cold beer or two, and R&R. :smt038

It's late Friday night. The boat is full of gas, packed, and ready to go. I'm at work. I'll get off at 10:30 PM, then go sleep on the boat. My family will join me in the morning, then we'll cruise 25 miles to the (in-)famous Crooked Island.

Look at Google Earth. Go 20 SE from the Panama City Pass. Go in that pass and head back NW about a mile. Notice the narrow white sand, barrier island beach. Picture 30 or 40 big Sea Rays there. Read about it in Fall '05 and/or Winter '05/'06 Sea Ray Living magazines. I'm the guy kiteboarding.

Jason, I know you lived through the Memorial Day weekend because you're reading this. (He and his are already there). Hope everyone else has a great weekend as well. I'm thinking about those who have sacrificed so much to allow me to enjoy such opportunities, such as my late, best friend.

I raise a glass in their honor, and drink like they're still here to enjoy it too. I know they wouldn't have it any other way.

Hampton, I hope it was not to rough on you down at Crooked Island, my neighbor came back yesterday in his 240 Sundeck and said there were 4 and 6 foot swells out there. :smt009

Fixing to load up and head back home in a couple of hours.

It was great for us, both ways. We stayed until Monday AM. There was a lot of wind Sunday, so I kitesurfed for a few hours. One of the best days of my life.
