New to us Sundancer

We just got this boat in 2021 and had it out 5 times. It's a 1987 Sundancer 250. with 2 owners. The last owner had it for 25 yrs and it is in great shape. First-ever owning a boat but we had friends that had a 1986 260 Sundancer and we fell in love. Looking for others with a boat like ours and that have big dogs. We want our GSD to be boat captain with us.

Welcome. My 1989 220 Cuddy Cabin looks very similar and has the same engine and drive. I have had mine for 13 years. It is a great boat. I am sure you will enjoy yours.
If you are doing your own maintenance, which I highly recommend, there is a lot of guidance available here.
Things like oil changes, exhaust manifold changes, impeller changes, fuel filter changes, etc can be done by anyone with basic tools and a desire to learn.

Awesome! We just purchased a 1999 260 Sundancer this year. We have two Australian shepherds. They aren’t that big but two of them can be a handful. A battery powered Dustbuster is a must for us, and works great for a quick cleanup when we are back at the dock.
