Well after 7 months of searching we finally closed on our next boat today. She is an all fresh water 2008 47 sedan bridge, with the lift, low hours, and we even go the teak cockpit we wanted.
We had been very set on a 48 sundancer as our next boat but after 7 months of unsuccessful searching we finally gave in a took a look at one of these. (our broker had been asking us to look at one for months)
It is a departure from the large open cockpit but we really like the space and honestly we rarely need a cockpit the size of the 48 sundancer. We are excited for a new chapter in our boating life this should provide more flexibility in varying weather conditions and multiple social zones. Best of all the admiral loves it and she was the most hesitant to look for anything but a 48 sundancer.
Huge Thank You to many of you on this site(Fwebster, Bmac, Footballfan, and katricol just to name a few) you have helped answer questions. Capt Rusty has been extremely helpful answering my many questions. Truly a great resource.
Now trying to get it trucked across country in the next 7 days!!
