Hello all! We got back into boating via a (new for us) 2007 Sea Ray 44 and can’t wait to get to the boat and in the water. We are currently living vicariously thru photos from friends as the boat was delivered to Minnesota and were in Arizona for another 3-4 weeks before getting home. We’ll be on the beautiful St Croix River, 20 miles north of connection to Mississippi.

We have so much to learn but really excited for the opportunity. Thank you in advance for the much needed help on this site!!

We moved to AZ from MN 15 years ago..we’re in N Scottsdale. We’re trying to spend more summertime back in MN

Welcome aboard! That's a very nice boat you choose and I am sure you will enjoy her!

Welcome! Not sure what you had when you got out of boating, but thats one heck of a vessel to get back into it. Congrats!

That's a sick boat! Looks like you are in Bayport? I am in Windmill (in Afton). We are on our boat a TON (330 Sundancer) and are part of the St. Croix Yacht Club. Welcome to the River and this Forum is amazing! LOVE YOUR BOAT!

-Chris

Two, we're not far from you down there. My wife's parents bought a condo in Sun City West in the 70's and gave it to us a few years ago. We usually winter down there but didn't this winter due to my MIL's health condition. She's 104, still doing pretty well, but wants us to be around frequently. She's more important than being snowbirds so we stuck around WA this year.

Enjoy your boat. I know you will, especially once you get used to how well she handles.

Thank you all for the warm welcome...what we missed most about boating was how friendly and chill everyone is...boat community is a very unique group of people in the very best way!
