Ok - so first weekend with the new boat is in the books. We had a fantastic time, met a bunch of cool people and learned some things;
1) backing the boat into the slip the first time was easier than we were expecting
2) backing the boat into the slip the 2nd time was way harder than I remembered
. Conditions change and results vary...need much more practice.
3) kicking a dock cleat with your bare foot hurts...a lot!
4) sleeping on the boat was great....at 6’-4” i wasn’t sure
5) need to document a checklist for taking boat out for a ride and retur I g 6) being on the water was amazing and couldn’t get enough of that!
