New Sea Ray Sorrento owner!

Welcome, I started my Sea Ray mania in 1988 with a S-24. The Sorrento's were a high quality exceptional boat and in my opinion the best styled Rays ever. Enjoy!

Thank you. I love my little S-23. My first boat so it's a perfect size for me to "learn the ropes".
I intend to do a lot of trailering to go where ever the fishing is good. Mostly in Baja California. And where the weather is warm too.
This little boat is the perfect Sea Of Cortez boat and good for near shore Pacific ocean use too. Okay to about 25 miles offshore on a nice day.

Hey guys!!! Im looking for some help, I had my motor apart and sitting in the garage for the last 6 months and finally got cracking on it. I'm stuck with wiring up the starter because there are so many wires and the starter is from a 1997 Chevy tahoe but I can't figure out where all the wires go... I tried looking in the mercruiser repair manual but could match the wires to the wiring diagram. Can somebody please help me? Shoot maybe even take a picture of your starter wiring for me. Thank you in advance!!!

Eric

P.S.
Here are pictures of what wires im trying to deal with and the starter posts!!!

Sweet, I love the help on this forum... or not!!!

Mixing auto engine parts on a marine motor can be a very dangerous thing. There is a reason that marine parts are a little more expensive.
