I've been a boater since high school. My first boat was a hand me down from my uncle in 1998... a 1969 Blue water 17' deep hull ski boat. I learned how to ski on that boat on New Years eve in Lake Havasu, AZ. Wearing two wet suits, lol.
Over the years I've been a small boat owner a few times. All of them small (The largest was a 19') used ski boats.
As the kids have gotten older I've lost the desire to go fast and want a more leisurely boating experience... so I bought an older 340 EC.
It's not in perfect condition, but it runs well. It fits my needs. It came with the marina slip (That alone is a $3k value). And it was under book.
The kids still live at home for another few years so if this beast gets me through the next couple boating seasons I'll be thrilled. Once I don't have to pay for them anymore... I'll upgrade to a larger or newer boat.
This is my first twin screw, and hot damn... I love it. Differential thrust is awesome.
Anyways, happy to be a part of ClubSeaRay, even if it's with a "classic" model.
