It may have already been discussed and I missed it. If so, my apologies.

The issue is the New Posts drop-down menu. I think it's a great addition. I do have a question of how it works.

It seems that selecting ALL should get the largest number of posts (i.e., all the new ones regardless of time span because there is no time limit on how far back the search goes to get the new posts since I've last logged on). Each time division should get a smaller number, because each is limited by time.

However, my recent experience is otherwise. Here are the results.

All: 11
Last 24 hours: 49
Last 48 hours: 72
Last 72 hours: 86

There must be something I'm missing.

Your logic would be correct unless (which it looks like you had in the above example) logged in aready in the last 24, 48, 72 hours. The "all" should do all of the posting since your last log in. The Last 24 hours (does not take into account new post since you have been logged in just all of the post that have been made in the last 24 hours, and so on.

Yup, that's the flaw in my logic for sure. It came to me while I was relaxing on the boat yesterday. Thanks for the help.
