Man there's sooooooooo many private jets over dare, you can walk the entire area and not touch the ground. Just jump from wing to wing :grin: Police friend of mine says that there will be in excess of 500 private jets parked for the big weekend.

I remember flying into Louisville KY for the Derby a few years ago - same thing. Looked like they were struggling for parking space.

I know a little something about quite a few things, but nothing about air planes. How does one know the Make and Model by looking at them. For instance, I do know that "Gulf Stream" is supposed to be high end material, but how can I pick one out of the crowd just by looking at it? I mean there is no signage on them... :huh:

Go to a site that sells higher-end aircraft, such as www.controller.com and just do a search for jets, and you'll see most of the executive iron there. Most aircraft-addicted folks just learn over time by hanging out at the airports and reading everything they can get their hands on.

Bruce - You'll also notice no corporate names/owner's names, etc. on the jets. That's the real "stealth" part of the lifestyles of the "rich and famous"...

Sometimes they will have a very distinctive paint job or (rarely) a personalized "N" number. Greg Norman's G550 has beautiful white over red paint with N1GN as his registration number...

I saw a jet with The Miami Dolphin logo on the tail on Thursday...
