Hi all,

I've been viewing this site for a while now with great interest, and I thought it's about time I introduced myself. I have been a long time fan of sea ray boats since I first laid my eyes on the first ones imported here to New Zealand in the early 90's. I remember drooling over them in the show room. I vowed to myself then, that when I'm 'bigger' that's the boat I will own. Fifteen years on and I'm the owner of a 20' cuddy. Although designed as a day boat, with my wife and two little kids we very successfully do many overnight trips away on her. We do our boating on Auckland's Hauraki Gulf, which many of you may have seen on Americas cup footage a few years ago. Though I have not seen any threads on boats of my age , I have found some good info on this site that will be helpful to me when I eventually up size to a sundancer when $$$ allow.

Cheers to all.

Welcome! Is it boating weather there now? Still a little cool here in Georgia. We don't get in the water until May sometime.

Yes, still very good boating weather here, getting to the end of summer. However we are pretty luck that we still go boating during the winter, no swimming but there is still some fish to be caught!

I've was down there once back in 2002. The "sailboats" were incredible at the docks... I was amazed at the size of those things...

Welcome to CSR

Welcome to the board, where outdoors is spelled S E A R A Y.

My Sea Ray is a 1991 and she is solid. We will be putting it in this weekend. I was waxing the boat a few minutes ago but it started raining. Have to finish before we haul it to the slip for the summer.

I guess your summer is about over, here's to a long fall.

Keep smiling.

There are always fish to be caught here in sunny Florida, actually catching them is another story though. Welcome aboard.

I am also a new member. I got my boat as a leftover last year and due to work and a slight accident I didn't get too use it. Hopefully many hours this yr., I am new to boating, the last time I was on a boat was twice when I was in KIWI's area, once in whangarai bay and once in the Bay of Islands.

New Zealand's coastal region must be incredible. I grew up in Newport RI and watched Dennis Connor and the America's Cup many times. Quite a sight to see. Welcome to the board !
