Well after being off the the water for several years, the wife and I are now ready to get back out on the water. My 1st boat was an '88 Bayliner 19' CC which did its job on getting me out on the water, learning the rules of the road and what not and moved up to an older '85 Sea Ray 23' Cuddy Cabin. Loved that boat a lot and really hated selling it, but priorities sort of dictate stuff.
Now that we are getting back into it, we are looking to buy a very nice 2003 Sundancer 240DA. Still keeping with the closed bow, but moving up to a smaller cruiser with a few of the creature comforts. The survey and sea trial are tomorrow, so I will get a better idea of where the boat stands, but hopefully, all goes well and I have a, new to me, Sundancer with some time before the boating season ramps up to take care of items that need to be taken care of as well as to familiarize myself with the boat better. I have always been one of those that will dive in and want to know as much as I can. I have already read the entire 100 pages of the "Official 240" board that looks to have been inactive for the last two years or so. Lots of good information in that forum!
Anyway, hoping that everything goes well tomorrow and that I can begin the process of getting back on the water and contributing here as much as I can as well.
