Hello Sea Ray Owners:
My name is Jerry Nessenson. I have owned 7 Sea Rays since 1975. I currrently have the Miss-Julie a fantastic 1999 500DA. I am also the founder and president of ValvTect Petroleum and ValvTect Marine Fuels. I was formally with Texaco and helped develop the Texaco Star Port marina program.
I developed ValvTect Marine Fuels to help provide boaters (like me and you) gasoline and diesel fuel specially formulated for marine engines and the very diffficult marine operating conditions (high moisture, heat, higher fuel burn rates, etc). I believe boaters should not have to worry about diesel fuel with bugs (bacteria), water, poor stabiliation, excessive filter plugging or any other problems from ethanol gasoline (such as phase seperation) or ultra low sulfur diesel. There are now almost 500 Certified ValvTect Marinas where fuel storage tanks are tested for contamination and the fuel contains all the additional fuel additives needed to give boaters a trouble free boating experiance (from fuel anyway).
This is not a commercial, but just an introduction. I don't check the site very often, however if anyone would like to contact me at ValvTect regarding any questions you may have about fuels (ethanol, conventional gasoline, ultra low sulfur diesel or biodiesel) you may post a note or best e-mail me at gnessenson@valvtect.com.
Best regards and happy boating,
Skipper Ness (Jerry)
