New hot tub - need your help

FYI: I have seen several homes with mold damage from the moisture a hot tub indoors emits.

Nothing like the worst that are usually the geniuses that use their clothes dryer hose for a home humidifier. LOL

We have an air flow system in the basement for when the tub is filled ,brings fresh air in and old air out ,works great and the humidity stays low.occasssionally we do run a dehumidifier in the summer. This winter we have been hard pressed to keep humidity above 25% in the house though its been dry and itchy.

Ours is outside but of course we are in the sunny warm south. Though not so much this year. :) Some of our favorite times in it is when there is snow. I use it more in the early mornings with my coffee to watch the sunrise. If we need indoor water massage therapy we use the Jaccuzzi tub in the bathroom.

You have a snowblower, that makes easy work of the snow if you keep up with it. How about putting up a gazebo type structure for the hot tub maybe put a fireplace in it too.

Getting the snowblower to the area where it would be if outside would be a chore. The area between the pool and the deck isn't that large and I risk running into things I don't want to. If it was only the snow from the sky to deal with, it might be manageable. But my roof is steel, and all the snow ends up on the decks, as you can see. I wouldn't be inclined to shovel it as often, and would end up not using it.

You guys will get a kick out of this. The tech from the hot tub place came this morning to do some measurements. He said "wow, you did a lot of shovelling to get to this door.... Too bad it won't fit." FUUUUUUuuu.

"good news is, it will fit through the front doors, if we take out the centre support and one of the other panes."

Yes, the front, where its still 7' high of snow. Guess what I'm doing next?
